And also what’s the max temperature you can set on this heat pump? I have a 18x52 round pool would this heat pump be efficient for my size pool? 6,900 gallons of water is what my pool holds
What I do is to also cover the pool with a solar blanket to avoid the heat to evaporate. If I remember from last design I think the highest temperature is 99 that can be set on the heater. My pool is 15x48 (I think) round and with the heater on and covered it can be heated pretty quickly. After it reach the temperature I leave it on so it can kick in if needed.
Does it have a cooling mode? And does the gfci plug it comes with plug into a regular nema 15r or does it only work in 20r and I’d have to put a new plug on it like you did?
Correction. So it does have an auto mode which also cool down the water. For example if I set the temp to 82 and the water in the pool get warmer (on a hot day) the cooling mode will kick in. But only if on auto settings. I will make another video about this.
I have the same pool. What are the specific pipes/hoses you purchased?
I installed it but it’s shutting down saying p9 error
How late into the fall & winter to you use it?
How do we start the heater?

Hey thank you for the video. I have a 15x24 oval pool that holds 8,500 gallons. Will the FH-135 be enough to heat it up?
How many watts does it pull? Specs say it's 20 amps, but then how can you have the filter and the heater on the same 120v circuit?
I don’t know how many. But I do run both. Otherwise it won’t work. This is my second season and no issues at all.
@@TheTomasNCan you do a video of how you did the electrical plug or was it professionally installed?
How long does it take to get to desired temperature? I just one of the and had it on for about 9hrs and temperature only went up about 2 degrees
From 70 to 90 it took about 2 days. I also use a pool cover which help. When it rain and it’s humid, it warm up faster.
@TheTomasN How big is your Pool?
How big is your pool? The company is telling me the reason mine not producing enough heat it may be undersized for my pool.

It doesn’t cool. This one is only a heater. It works with a regular 15R plug and 120V.
The GFCI plug is big.
@@TheTomasN Thank You!

Is it necessary to ground the heat pump? I don’t know if you did just wanted to know.
I was told by the company yes. Not sure if necessary but definitely highly recommended. It’s super easy to do so.
@@TheTomasN what materials do you need to ground it? And whats the purpose of grounding the heat pump just wanted to know, I’m new to this
@@glenvaldez3459 ground rod and copper wire. You can get it in Lowe’s or Home Depot. Grounding will eliminate any possible electric shock
It needs to be bonded not grounded. Important difference.
Ow as told grounded by the manufacture. I sent him photo and he approved.
Where’s your ground rod???
I ran it to the left from the heater so it’s not in the way.
hey where did you get this from?
I bought it directly from Fibropool
Question
Did you connect both outlets to the same circuit, or you had to run two separate lines for it?
Please lest me know.
Thanks.
Both outlets on same circuit. I am really glad it work as don’t really want to run a new line.
