Other than the unique Arch-Anomalies like Bulba and the Poppy Field (which all have a unique Arch-Artifact), every anomaly drops randomized artifacts, with higher end ones being more common with the upgraded scanner.
You can sell red items at a specific vendor. There is also currently a glitch that allows to sell literally anything for full price Xbox and PC but I think you need a mouse. Simply move everything you want to sell into the sell box, then right click on any item (dunno if completely necessary) then drag any stackable into the sell box.. do not click off the tab selecting how much you want to move... Then click the sell button and you will get the full price for everything in the sell box. Thank me later 😂
Quick tip for people who may read this on artifacts. Artifacts are FARMABLE. What this means is that after an emission happens and finishes, the areas where you previously picked up artifacts will have a new spawned in, so you can go back there to find a new artifact. However, all artifact spawns are RANDOM, save for quest artifacts or unique artifacts. Despite this, the type of anomaly present at that location, such as the gravitational anomalies shown in the video or acidic anomalies, will affect the type of artifact that will generate. Furthermore, if you are struggling to keep down the radiation from your artifacts, one thing you could check out is to see if your suit possibly has an upgrade for your artifact containers called 'Lead-Lined Container.' This will make your first container slot curtail the radiation from the artifact equipped into your first slot. Also, it pays to have a suit with high radiation protection. Alternatively, you could possibly find an artifact with Radio protection to help curb some of the rads from your artifacts. I hope this helps someone out in their playthrough! Stay safe out there, Stalkers!

As a new stalker 2 player its been a huge help by identifying what ammo goes on what guns and what ammo i need to put away, i never even noticed that the ammo was highlighted haha. now i can have a better managed inventory
on pc unload guns on the ground by holding F, I prefer this. Also, bandages, alcohol, water, everything but canned food and condensed milk are leaves... medi-packs are ok to take but will eventually weigh you down so I wouldn't get more than 20 at most. Leave town with as little as possible. 100 rounds for AR, 30-40 for shotgun and 100 pistol rounds (they weigh less), 5 cans of food, 6-8 bandages, 6-8 meds, 5 anti-rad meds. Do not be afraid to use AP ammo on your own pistol, it repairs cheap and is practically indestructible... also a decent head-shot machine if you are good. Edit: late-stage (red forest) food vendor will also carry weight increasing anomalies for around 12k ea.
Apparently you can farm anti-radiation artifacts from acid anomalies, too, so fish around in the anomaly under the windmill until you get a medium rad absorption one, and if you put on one of the military suits from the Sphere or something, you can wear it with a carry capacity one.
i got lucky at the Poison Hole to the NorthWest of Slag Heap, got an artifact with maximum radio protection and maximum chem protection. idk if it's random or unique but definitely go check that place out for artifacts
Typically in web design, 3 horizontal lines is usually called a hamburger menu icon, but I would just call it the menu or options button on a controller

Also, armor piercing usually isn't needed against humans at least early on, because one headshot will drop them. If the later areas have full helmets that would change things.
No its not 100% to drop enemies human in one headshot with non-ap ammo, i mostly run with PS ammo and most time when game spawn group of three AI, i figured out i have very low chance to drop them in single bullet on head before them spot me, most time them will survive 2 - 3 PS on head, i'm going to give other caliber a try but that is what happen in game for me
there are two big problems, in Stalker 2 body bagpacks can cary only 30kg of stuf if you want move that body, second problem is short persistence for corpses. If You go long trail that corpse just disapear with all loot.
Meh, I kinda think having to actually pick up and "examine" the gun before knowing it's durability is cool, as inconvenient as it is. Just adds to immersion
Considering its in some sections I don't understand why its not universally applied. Some places you go and theres guns lying around that are marked as broken so you can tell without picking them up.
Interestingly I didn't find either of those artifacts when I went to that spot earlier in the journey. Super helpful video, good stuff. I now know to keep an eye out for those artifacts, I've been dying to just get some extra weight. Been using the earlier game armor to save coupons so I could build up something of a reserve lol

Best tip was loading up a corpse and taking it back. I’m going to try that on my next play through since I’ve finished the game. You can sell broken weapons to Ragman in Rostok
Doesn’t hinder you to leave base with just one primary weapon and a pistol there. Food items are frequent enough while exploring you can just eat them as you go and avoid the hunger debug the entire time. Only time I keep food on me is when I know I’m gonna use energy drinks since they make you hungry faster.
Ragman (trader) in Rostok will buy red items as long as they're not at 0%. But he pays less for all other items, so only sell him the red stuff. Also, for me the game is very very crashy in Rostok when managing storage (chest) and interacting with the three traders. I'm not certain but I think Anti-Rad pays out the best by weight, I think they weigh 0.01 and they pay out about 180k which is way more for way less weight than other common items like medkits, bandages, water, beer, vodka, bread, sausage. You can dump those items or sell them to wandering NPCs (700k limit) to lose weight. Weapons and armor are heavy and worth a lot when they're at 100%. The problem is most weapons you find are less than 50% and are also worth about the same percentage. In fact, I noticed Anti-Rads by weight paid more for a common used weapon in the 40% range. Also, Ragman paid more for a red Mark 1 EMR (M-14) than the other traders in Rostock paid for a yellow Viper (MP5).
Dogs will hide if you climb higher than they can get you, but it is a good time to reload and heal. But it is still a good tip to climb to a high point with mutants.
There are different artifacts. But they are tied with they properties to the type of anomaly they are found in. Also the anomaly will produce new artifacts when the emission occurs. Higher tier detectors will reveal higher tier artifacts.
@AndrewGoodfellow yes. Just like in previous games. But that's doesn't work on unique artifacts. With A-life working we should (if it would work like in previous ones) also see NPCs getting into anomaly to search for them or carrying them.
I came to much of the same conclusions on "what to take with me when I leave a base" as you did. I was hauling around way too much med kits and food. Also, pay attention to the type of food you choose to bring and its weight. Both bread and sausage reduce hunger a "medium" amount, but sausage weighs 0.4 kg each, with bread being 0.3. Neither are any good at health restoration, so choose the lighter bread. Additionally, look at the cost of items you're holding on to sell once you're back at base. Is it better to hoard bandages with list value of 150 or anti-rad drugs at 500? PDA's at notes are almost worthless as well.
with controller, in your inv you can just press left trigger on a weapon and it will unload it. the little menu really isnt all the necessary, unless you do not know of this method
Warning item drop on ground will not disaapear and will cause lag in some area you farm serveral times, drop into enemies body so it will remove along with body - because move backward will slow you down try to move aside when fighting with any mutant you will dodge them attack most time
I remember the old stalker game if you help the gun smith finish their quest, they will give you huge discount and will make repair and sell worth the money. I wonder if that is still the case in Stalker 2.
TQZ 34 does not work well with the blood sucker's is there a better shotgun to get in the lesser zone? I don't know how many shotgun bullets gotta put it into it a Blood sucker but they just walk it off like it's nothing, and i'm playing on easy difficulty too 😂😂
In the beginning of the game there is an invisible enemy you had to fight and next to it was an artifact spot that spawns a negative radiation artifact which would've allow you to equip any minus weight artifact with a radiation cost. Unfortunately for me the damn cutscene where you get ambushed after setting up the scanning device robbed me of the said artifact.
I use to pile loot on the floor in the boxcars in Rostock all the time. I wondered if it was possible to do it in this game. Also on the dead scientist that remain in game forever.
I completely upgraded an ak74 until it shattered, and i had to leave it behind to haul a paycheck back to a trader. I couldn't seem to remember where i left it. Then, on my way to clear sky, I found it again in a brick building. Tragically, after the controller fight, I accidently dropped it from my inventory, and it vanished forever. The gives and the zone takes, I guess.
believe it or not, expansive or HP ammo does less damage to mutants, because of their physical resistance stats... AP ammo or guns with higher base penetration are the way to go. A bit of a oversight in my opinion by the devs
I binded my unloaded weapon button to the drop weapon button so when I pick it up check it in my inventory and it's red when I drop it it also removes the ammo
Still searching for that one took the Repeatable quest for it and have not found a single one of those even though i have rows of artifacts in my stash. Good to know its a Gravitie one
I’ve waddled around the first area for 9 hours before I figured out how to get the detector out, I know, I know 🤦♂️. But it’s first stalker game. So I’ve missed loads. 😂. I’m learning now though.
The only time you dont want to be taking red items is when you are overweight,or still in the lesser zone. For the entire restof the game reds are sellable.
i got the same loadout i take 10 medkits 10 bandages 200 to 300 rounds of ar ammo 50 buckshot or 308 rounds and a bit of pistol ammo 5 rad meds 5 cans of food 5 cans of energy drink so i can run longer without stopping or if im over encumbered and fu gravitational anomalies they are a nightmare to navigate trying not to get sucked in while looking at the numbers on my detector
You čǎň essentially farm for low grade artifacts on ribs by acquiring the first randomized artifact in ribs, go to sleep in town, travel to Garbage and snag another artifact at the acid pit, comeback to Lesser Zone, sleep again then take that ass back to Ribs and repeat.
I think If You will same Goblinmaster as I, your cary status will be increased or glitched, You can cary without Upgrades suits and without artifacts maximaly 80kg but if you will moving on this limit -0,01kg very long time, this status will increased. For me was increase around +8kg and at now i can carry 88kg. + 1 spring artyfact for +6kg and 2 soft artifacts all increase +3kg (next +6kg) and i have suit with upgrade +10 cary weight (next +8,8kg from my 88kg, for you it is +8kg) -> at now I can carry 108.8kg, but I useing diferent suit with diferent specifics (better protect from bulets, 4 artifact slots and one is without receving radiation upgrade ( i use hypercubic in that special slot(max radiation receving but max heat protect + max physical protect) + 2 children balls (no radiation emmision protect from bulets if no moving + seahedge (reduce medium radiation), and in inventory I have these 3 artifacts for increase cary weight. Be carefull i have yet 4 diferent artifacts for increase "softly" cary weight but (+ one medium increasing - spring) 2 of them increase +3kg and 2 of them have same prize and status "softly" but increase only +2kg. Regarding Artifacts They besides for some pre placed ones for quests or the Unique ones (oddball The Poppy flower etc) are Semi randomly aka They spawn randomly based on the types of anomalys around Gravitie tends to be Carry weight Physical Protection Fire is Thermal Resistance electro is Stamina and Electro resist etc So yhea it just comes down to luck what exactly you find (you can even find Legendarys from the beginning)
can you come back to the same anomoly later and reroll and get another artifact from it? if yes, do you know how long it takes for you to be able to find another? like maybe after sleeping or loading into the interior of a building or something?
@@AndrewGoodfellow a sry mate wasnt active in the last time i do know that artifacts get randomly spawned in there but sadly i dont know how the respawning gets handled (in the past Emmisions were responsible) If you personaly kinda wanna cheat it (Lets say get a Artifact for rad protection early on so you can actualy use them from the get go without worrying) Save when you are like 200 metter away from it and if a artifact is inside of the anomaly you can reload the save until you get what you want from what i heard (Gravitie is Weight acid is Rad resist Electro is stamina Thermal is Bleeding and protection from that kind of Damage

0:30 his name cleary isnt gary, its Dymas Conman.. and he had a family..
the 3 lines button is either the "start" button or the "menu" button
with controller, in your inv you can just press left trigger on a weapon and it will unload it. the little menu really isnt all the necessary, unless you do not know of this method
I found the spring artifact at the RIBs location during my current game.
Warning item drop on ground will not disaapear and will cause lag in some area you farm serveral times, drop into enemies body so it will remove along with body
- because move backward will slow you down try to move aside when fighting with any mutant you will dodge them attack most time
You should still be able to unload guns in the incentory menu by tapping LT instead of the drop down menu
Unload tip for xbox players, when in tour inventory, press LT while over the gun, it will auto unload. D-pad and spam.
I don't know how many shotgun bullets gotta put it into it a Blood sucker but they just walk it off like it's nothing, and i'm playing on easy difficulty too 😂😂
Hitting 'G' also unloads a weapon in your inventory if you hover over the item.
Thank you sir
I use to pile loot on the floor in the boxcars in Rostock all the time. I wondered if it was possible to do it in this game. Also on the dead scientist that remain in game forever.
That first tip is big brain
I completely upgraded an ak74 until it shattered, and i had to leave it behind to haul a paycheck back to a trader. I couldn't seem to remember where i left it. Then, on my way to clear sky, I found it again in a brick building. Tragically, after the controller fight, I accidently dropped it from my inventory, and it vanished forever. The gives and the zone takes, I guess.
got lucky and got spring first time around, then the pebble. waiting for the next emission for a hand at the whirlwind...
believe it or not, expansive or HP ammo does less damage to mutants, because of their physical resistance stats... AP ammo or guns with higher base penetration are the way to go. A bit of a oversight in my opinion by the devs
xbox can also just hit left trigger while in inventory menu to unload a weapon
I only found springs at Ribs POI and Pebble at Deaf Meadow
on controller u can unload with left trigger in ur inventory
I binded my unloaded weapon button to the drop weapon button so when I pick it up check it in my inventory and it's red when I drop it it also removes the ammo
For me I found the "Whirlwind" artifact at the Ribs location. Gives weak Endurance, Physical Protection and weak rad.
Still searching for that one
took the Repeatable quest for it and have not found a single one of those even though i have rows of artifacts in my stash.
Good to know its a Gravitie one
What about all the items with "checks" on them that I can never stash or remove?
You can unload weapons in the inventory by pushing left trigger
Its called the 3 lines button.....of course
1:30 it’s the start button or mybe menu button I can’t exactly remember 😅
Start button is PS, but I'm pretty sure they changed that too. They change it every new console cycle nowadays, I'd just call it whatever you want.
it’s called the navigation burger bc it’s stacked layers and most gui’s have the navigation menu in that tab.
That button is start and the other is select and it will never ever change
i got the same loadout i take 10 medkits 10 bandages 200 to 300 rounds of ar ammo 50 buckshot or 308 rounds and a bit of pistol ammo 5 rad meds 5 cans of food 5 cans of energy drink so i can run longer without stopping or if im over encumbered and fu gravitational anomalies they are a nightmare to navigate trying not to get sucked in while looking at the numbers on my detector
Ninja you know damn well that's called that start button 😂😂
three lines button is called a star/menu button
You čǎň essentially farm for low grade artifacts on ribs by acquiring the first randomized artifact in ribs, go to sleep in town, travel to Garbage and snag another artifact at the acid pit, comeback to Lesser Zone, sleep again then take that ass back to Ribs and repeat.
Basically the pause button. Why did Xbox do it that way ? I have no clue either
Artifacts are random, atleast the minor ones you find with the indicators
The artifacts are random I got whirlwind there
The emissions reset artifact spawns
Yea at ribs I got a goldfish 💀 don’t even know wtf it does.
On console or controller hover over the gun and press LT
Check this on player cary bar.
Where do one find the Upgraded detector and the SPAS-12 Shotty?
It’s the start button. But I’m OG. My first controller had 1 button and a joystick. 😂 This game is phenomenal. Even day 1 with bugs it’s amazing. It’s the sweatiest single player game I’ve played in a long time.
I just started, just made it to the stalker town, is there a stash I can store all my loot?
Regarding Artifacts
They besides for some pre placed ones for quests or the Unique ones (oddball The Poppy flower etc) are Semi randomly
aka They spawn randomly based on the types of anomalys around
Gravitie tends to be Carry weight Physical Protection
Fire is Thermal Resistance
electro is Stamina and Electro resist
etc So yhea it just comes down to luck what exactly you find (you can even find Legendarys from the beginning)
can you come back to the same anomoly later and reroll and get another artifact from it? if yes, do you know how long it takes for you to be able to find another? like maybe after sleeping or loading into the interior of a building or something?
@@AndrewGoodfellow a sry mate wasnt active in the last time
i do know that artifacts get randomly spawned in there but sadly i dont know how the respawning gets handled (in the past Emmisions were responsible)
If you personaly kinda wanna cheat it (Lets say get a Artifact for rad protection early on so you can actualy use them from the get go without worrying) Save when you are like 200 metter away from it and if a artifact is inside of the anomaly you can reload the save until you get what you want from what i heard
(Gravitie is Weight
acid is Rad resist
Electro is stamina
Thermal is Bleeding
and protection from that kind of Damage
@@AndrewGoodfellowthey have a high chance of respawning a new artifact after an emission.
yes from spny play station days that is and always will be the start button
actualy you can make thousands and dozen of thousands coupons od red damaged weapons in rostock where you can sell them to ragman.
I had like 6 things marked with the orange I couldn’t put anywhere else so half my weight was unavoidable, which was super annoying
At the Ribs I got The Goldfish which gives weak weight and weak radiation
"3 lines" is Start / Menu
I found jellyfish artifact where you said is the Spring Artifact? ?
Start button on the right, Select on the left!
You can put your ammo in the loot box? The game won’t let me put anything but weapons and armor in it.
i found the peble artifakt at this location but how you get so far in the north for the spring artifact i cant cross the bridge to the north
with the ammo.... most of the time just use regular ammo. sure the other types are useful but for how much i use that other ammo.... its just extra dead weight.
Biggest tip: download a mod that reduces or removes item weight. Seriously, massively improves the game. Oh and free repairs mod.
