Thank you for sharing! I plan on diving into Thoth soon and plan on moding! I found I have to trim on a flat surface like a table, if I trim on my bed I can't keep my arm straight.
It looks good! I am scared of trimming my decks.... I've just got another copy of the druidcraft tarot, so if I decide to chop it it will be a cheaper deck first!
I, too, love watching Bojo Tarot's videos on deck trimming and journaling. I haven't worked up the courage, yet, to trim a deck...but I'm getting there! Good video.
Thank you so much! She truly is the master, I can only imagine all of the details I wouldn't have thought of had I not referenced her process 😌 I'll be curious to know how it goes for you if (and when) you decide to trim a deck, I'm sure it'll be great 💚
Well done! I really enjoyed your video and your deck looks great! Fantastic color choice for the edges, so rich and matched the deck nicely. 🙂 Also thank you so much for the shout-out! Many blessings ❤️
Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from the master herself! ☺️ I learned it all from you, so thank YOU for teaching me through your awesome and helpful videos 💚😄
Wohoo! Well done. I loved the Peppa pig innovation. Only if ot had worked till the end 😂🤷🏼♀️ I started my thoth trim project in such a rush and ended up just ripping the tape of my snus box (it’s the swedish lip tobacco) but hey...that one stupid tape survived the whole deck 😂😂 I edged mine also with distress ink and atleast in my cards I was kinda able to scratch the small ”dbleeding” blotches off the card fronts after it dried. And I think that it just add a bit of personality to the deck. Great job. Enjoy those glorious images. It’s just insane how the colors pop after trimming.
I love the behind the scenes details! I will have to try that with the edges that have some ink bleeding! Your video was so great, and I am so with you on the colors really shining without the borders ☺️💙🙌🏼
Haha, the Peppa Pig stickers led me astray! 😂 Thank you, Casper! 💚 Who knows, maybe you trimming a copy will make it easier to work with? 🧐 You can't go wrong with two Thoth Decks! 😉
The same exact thing happened with me. I bought one that was like that but wooden. I had the same problem when I was printing my own decks.. I returned it also and ended up getting another type of cutter.. same issue tho. Rough edges
Ah I'm sorry, that's rough, paper cutters are so tricky! 🙉😭 If you are in need and still in the market for one I can send you the link for this one, it worked really well! ☺️
Loved this video James I've been waiting patiently for it 🤣🤣 I cant believe peppa made an appearance. My niece watches her all the time 😅. When I trimmed my thoth I used scissors and also a small corner I think (it was years ago) I did leave the keywords and titles on cos I'm not all that familiar with thoth but yours looks so good you may have inspired me to chop them off.
That makes sense, and using scissors sounds like it takes a lot of precision! You'll have to let me know how it works out if you take off the key words and titles! 😄
Thank you so much! 😄 The measuring portion seems to be 12 inches by 12 inches and I believe the blade is also about that length; I apologies, if I could find the receipt, box or an exact indicator of the size I'd let you know!
Cool 😍😍
Thank you!

Such an exciting journey, I'd love to know how it goes for you, along with trimming the deck! Many thanks for watching 😆💖
These came out awesome, I really like the walnut edge. Just about to start the trimming process myself, it looks a touch intimidating but also fun!
Thank you! I hope yours went well! 😄
This is stunning!
Thank you! 😆
I love it! This is my soulmate deck
Thank you! It's a lovely deck for sure! ☺️💚

I am gonna take this plunge on my large Thoth soon so thanks for sharing this is so helpful!
Oooh, what an exciting project! I hope it goes well 😄💖

Great job, James! They look gourgeous
Thank you so much, Masa! 💚✨
You did an amazing job! The final result is beautiful Thank you so much for the demonstration!
You are too kind! ☺️ Thank you for watching 💚

They look amazing! The cut is so precise and the choice of color for the edging is very elegant. Love it!
Thank you so much, Mary-Grace! ☺️💕
Love it! I’ve been thinking about getting a Thoth deck. Trimming it has sealed the deal. It really allows the art to shine!
I never even thought of doing that with like a marker. Awesome. Sorry still watching
Boho Tarot is my inspiration for it all, she's a master and I was NOT the best student 😂
James Feeney I’ll have to check out her videos.
Perfect timing! I'm planning to trim my big Thoth soon, in preparation for a deep dive with it this summer! Love the Peppa pig. :) Use what you have.
That sounds like a lot of fun! Such an exciting course of study 😆 Thank you for watching, from me and Peppa Pig! ☺️💚
That Peppa Pig is such a CUTE ADORNMENT to use hahahaha. Dawn Michelle uses washi tape which is much easier to take off hahahha. So beautiful

That paper cutter looks so sturdy! Isn't it the best when a trimmed deck is super precise? :P Well done
Thank you, Anna! Yours looks amazing as well! 😍

James Feeney the one I’ve been using is one of those slider types by fiskars. It works ok just leaves a slightly raised edge.
Can anyone please tell me how big the deck is when it is trimmed (measurements)? Thank you!

Hi James, love your videos. I’m considering doing the same to my Thoth deck. What size Trim air cutter did you go with? Thanks.
