I was doing research for my podcast and this is by far the best explanation I found for Arthur Miller's work. I will be referencing this video as educational material for the episode. Thank you so much.

2:15 Communism doesn't have any currency whatsoever, so there wouldn't be income. There would be equal rights though for things like healthcare, food, water, everything. We wouldn't have to buy anything in order to survive. Plus, the government(or the bourgeoise) wouldn't be taking over the businesses like milking cows or whatever. It would be the workers(proletariats). Everyone would be involved with getting their own stuff

Nice video, but 1. America isn't a democracy, its a constitutional republic. This is a very important fact that keeps being forgotten. 2. While many could argue otherwise communism isn't as ideal as this video made it sound, not according to history. It doesn't make sense for people to get so scared over it, if you don't explain why it was a problem. 3. The last two points about gender and the nuclear family seemed out of place. I don't care what you think about those points, as it doesn't effect me, but it doesn't really make sense to be brought up. Other than the point that yes, women were not treated as well as they should have been in those days. I think the many point Arthur Miller was trying to make is that when fear overrides reason society becomes terrible.
