Thanks for the vid. I'm from Philly and I visited that pier when I was out in the Anaheim area for work 2 years ago. Your video brought back memories. Beautiful beach and beautiful people. 🙂👌
Thanks for the video, perfect, my daughter lives in Huntington Beach by the pier. There's no place to park around her place, so watching this video solved that problem.l have a XP and a Pro bolt.Hope they still let us ride the ebikes on the pathway next to sand.
James, do a Goggle search, the city council changed their minds and are now allowing Ebikes on the beach path. Hopefully everyone takes it slow so they don't change it back.
Thank you for the video, going there next week to do exactly this with our Lectric bikes… any tips of where to park the bikes so we can eat at Pacific Pier Mall, etc…?
With all the new higher power ebikes and emopeds popping up lately the lectric xp is still just a good, practical failry priced reliable pedal type ebike with enough power for most people’s needs. With 5 pedal assist modes and can still hit 28mph and can run low to mid 20’s on throttle alone for up to around 20-25 miles. It’s not flashy nor dull and for $900 shipped still a great value. For most that want to get out and explore more in their neighborhood that they wouldn’t be able to do on a regular pedal bike because of the hills the xp and others like it are just fine.
"can still hit 28mph " Another reason to remove these dangerous injury devices on bike and pedestrian walkways and get them back on the streets. One fatality with millions awarded to the innocent pedestrian/regular bike rider will cause the city to change their laws...
Hey buddy just wanted to ask you how many miles from where you and Gabe started the ride and did you guys make it back on one fully charged battery seams like the bile ride was pretty long distance?
Ahhh, I miss the SoCal beaches. Lived in Redondo for 4 years, now we're back in Denver. Did you have the GoPro (?) strapped to your chest? And those signature squeeky XP brakes. :-) Hydraulics still on my to-do upgrade on XP and ST. Thanks brother!
Not too noisy. That's the sound of the nobby tires. Once they wear it gets better. I kind of like it though because it let's people know you are coming.👍
You "bicyclists" need to stay off the street completely then. You don't need to be riding your bicycle down the middle of Sepulveda Boulevard between cars.
Thanks for this video guys. I really liked it. I've never commented on a video ever in my life. Really, thank you for this video
Nice ride! Waiting on my 2.0 probably out there on one of those container ships!😎
Right on!

Yes! Just remember to peddle so you don't cause attention. We were cruising around 10mph on the boardwalk. Nice ride. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks, DJ Jimmy

Dj jimmy is right from what I’ve heard. The speed limit for ebikes on these beach bike board, walk and skate paths is 10mph? or you will get ticketed.
Watching your video is helping me learn to ride my bike
That's awesome!

Thanks for the visit
Great vid bro! im getting a E Bike This weekend and plan on a run from Anaheim to Huntington Beach
Thanks Rob! Yeah, that Santa Ana River trail is a great ride. When you get to the end, you can ride into Huntington or Newport Beach. Have fun!

I couldn't agree with you more!

I used to go out there biking all the time
good day, what harness are you using to shoot your riding videos. thanks
What screen protector are you using for the display?
Hows that bell 300 mirror holding up? Grip end isn't full round so i wondered about that.
It works! Still trying to decide on what permanent mirrors I want. But for now, the Bell is fine. The velcro keeps it on, no problem.
Hi nice video.just want to double check if it’s ok
To ride ebike in Huntington Beach?is it legal?
I see some beach says no electric bike.ty
Short answer is yes, it's legal. Rule of thumb is to stay at 10mph. They are even renting ebikes and scooters on the boardwalk now.
Hey buddy just wanted to ask you how many miles from where you and Gabe started the ride and did you guys make it back on one fully charged battery seams like the bile ride was pretty long distance?
It's 8.5 miles one way and we returned with about 35% battery left!
Have you seen any one or talked to any one when has trainer wheels on the back of their bike ?
No, I haven't heard of that. I know there are trike ebikes though.
Yes, GoPro chest mount is the way to go for a riders point of view. And why use a bell or horn when you have squeaky brakes! Hahahaha
How noisy is it? Is that your bike sound?
Not too noisy. That's the sound of the nobby tires. Once they wear it gets better. I kind of like it though because it let's people know you are coming.👍
I just got my bike and I haven't ridden it yet
Once you get on, you will love it!
Handlebars too small
I agree. Still fun to ride though. You can swap them out pretty easily
Hoping through lawsuits to remove electric bikes from all bike paths and put them on the street where they belong...
Good luck
There's nothing wrong with those bikes being there. Everyone just has to watch out for each other and everything will be fine.
