I'm starting out on guitar, I wanna be able to get to this level one day. It's a bit of challenge with college and life getting in the way, any tips to stay motivated and learn? Also any advice on equipment I should get? If there's a video you already made about your setup, a point in the right direction is appreciated :)
The way to go about guitar is nothing but practice. The thought of practicing everyday is demotivating sometimes, but there's really no easy way to get about it. A 350 dollar guitar and a decent amp and some multi fx got me through my first 5 years playing

@@nikhilmanuel9611 A multi FX unit is just a processor that has multiple inbuilt effects, as opposed to having multiple pedals. Most of them are digital like the Line 6 Helix or the Line 6 POD. As far as practicing to improve your skill, I think the easiest and most general thing that I can say is learn songs written by others! If you only practice things that you write, you're limited by the vocabulary that you have right now. Learning challenging songs allows you to grow your skill. If you run into a tricky part or a technique you don't know how to do, find another video or article that explains it well. With gear, that's really difficult for me to just say, "you should get this exact gear", because everybody's tastes are different. Style, gear preference, and technique all come with time. Practice every day!

I know how to play this and i can say that this song isn't beginner level. I mean you can learn this as beginner but in scale id say it's 8 (i played electric for 3 months everyday for atleast 1,5 hours and it was 4 in scale for me) but i recommend to play/learn some easier songs first

Honest question...On a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult was this song to learn and play, coming from a beginner
I know how to play this and i can say that this song isn't beginner level. I mean you can learn this as beginner but in scale id say it's 8 (i played electric for 3 months everyday for atleast 1,5 hours and it was 4 in scale for me) but i recommend to play/learn some easier songs first
It's not too difficult, but fast in the chorus and verse but that's really it
