Tarot IRONMAN 650 build and review - Flashing Pixhawk autopilot [Part 4]

In this video we flash the 3Drobotics pixhawk autopilot system and tests if the sensors work. In this video series we build the Tarot Ironman 650 quadcopter frame. Next videos we begin installing the electronics and the 3D robotics pixhawk autopilot system. All in all it seems a very good quality frame. This quadcopter should be used for mapping/photographing fields (with crop) from above. We'll see how that unfolds soon. Stay tuned and subscribe!

Hello! Nice video, great introduction to Pixhawk... I am planning to bild new quadcopter with "follow me " feature (this is only reason to use 3DR cotroller, Ilike NAZA better) So..please help me to selekt right parts:
1.Pixhawk PX4 2.4.5 or PX42.4.6 or only PX4-kit-0011 good enough for "follow me'? or all of them upgratable?
2. Wich one u-blox GPS I have to buy: Neo6 or Neo7M or only NeoM8N or only new square one???
3.Radio set- no questions...

Well i don't know where you are ordering from? But when i ordered it all sort of seemed to be included. I bought the newest pixhawk and the GPS were included. I would recommend you do the same - much easier :-)
3. get the 3DR telemetry radios - it really brings much value!

MultiCopterBuild Thanks for fast reply...With radios all clear...About gps I do not know- there is 2 choises Ublox NEO M8N(NEO 7n) and LEA-6H0002(last more expensive)

Pixhawk autopilot ...kinda expensive set ,,am starting with the kk2.1 board and gonna try installing gps neo6 on it ...if u have instructions on the kk2.1 board with this tarot please let me know ,,,or if u know where i can get the pixhawk set for a nice price please lead me to it ,,thank you

Yes it is. I am using it for business purposes and thats why i needed a powerful open source platform i could develop specifically for my business purposes later on. If you want to know something on the KK2.0/2.1 board check out my tricopter build series where i use that. Otherwise it is easy to google places near you that have the Pixhawk - then just look for the cheapest place. I'm sorry i don't know where that is because i ordered it through my business so i didn't have that many possibilities to chose from. Also i don't know which part of the world you're from so i can't guide you to the cheapest place. Great day to you :-)
