To be honest, the game should change the calculation of the life likelihood index. It shouldn't be completely based on Earth, and it should be atmospheric pressure rather than mass, and rotational period instead of speed. Great video as always.
to counter, since earth is the only planet we know with real life, what else would it possibly based on? also its not even based on earth, its just showing the percentage possibility of life. if youre talking about earth similarity, its only based on earth because most people dont want to be looking for a planet based on jupiter or venus.
In my star systems, if the planet is in the red area, then I increase the albedo of that object to become habitable. If it's too far from the star, I bring the Number of Atmosphere Layers until the green zone hits the area of the planet.
Wow, I haven't played the game since a few years and so much changed, really cool. I should update some day lol. Were I to terraform these planets/moons etc. I would have also changed the rotation of the planet ngl. If Venus had a day this long it would probably be very problematic for life to hold onto anyhow. But I wouldn't make every object have the same day length and atmo pressure as Earth either. I also would have invented some custom moons here and there, if it's a game after all 😝 On another matter, are moons like Ganymede, Callisto, Titan etc. now properly classified as being made out of ice, or are they still rocky? And another important matter, do they already have their own textures or not?
If somethings way too small to have water add a tiny bit of hydrogen so you don't have to change the mass Also for realisim and tides if the planet doesn't have a moon do 2 phobos and 2 deimos for mercury For venus ceres would be good What about phobos n deimos
If you want to add water to an object that cannot hold on to water. Add a little bit of hydrogen spokennoise and it can hold on to the water spokennoise
Part of the problem with the moon is that it doesn't have a magnetic field. I'm not sure if you can just add one to the moon and fix the water problem or not, but it's an idea.

@@xcyrusgd I said not COMPLETELY based on earth, not NOT BASED on earth
@@VamosHazard_ i dont fully understand, could you explain a bit more?
Bro it’s rotating so slow

No Mars’ lower elevation is in the northern hemisphere, not the southern hemisphere (the southern hemisphere has higher elevation).
13:22 cool
Noice vid I have been looking for ages one of these then I went on the channel and saw the video! Nice!!!

The water on mars was in the northern hemisphere at least from what I remember
How the hell do you people keep getting the planets surface to stay in place while the time is running?

you forgot magnetic field
To add water to an object that cannot hold on to water. Add a little bit of hydrogen and it can hold onto a water.
Another way to do it: replace all the other planets with earth
If you want to add water to an object that cannot hold on to water. Add a little bit of hydrogen spokennoise and it can hold on to the water spokennoise
To add 12 an object that can't hold on to water at just a teen seat.A little bit of hydrogen, and then the planet can hold on to water
For the smaller planets I think you should've launched hydrogen at them, since that holds water.
This guy is too talented for his own good
In mu opinion, you should change the rotation to make it more habitable and give it magnetic fields
Part of the problem with the moon is that it doesn't have a magnetic field. I'm not sure if you can just add one to the moon and fix the water problem or not, but it's an idea.
Anything like Mercury-Moon size, you must add a little hydrogen for the water to stay
Good good good I like Mercury Venus Earth Mars They’re really good terraforming
This made me want to do it myself!
I love your videos my guy!
193rd!
edit: i put 193th instead of 193rd
did you mean 193rd
@@akidummy yes i will fix that
Try make new colonization series, in the newest version.
Add some. Bluewater Makes it awesome
Can you do colonizing the solar system part2 outer planets
i dont remember clicking this video maybe i clicked something while i was asleep
Nowthat’s not overkill
Goooooooooood
i was terraforming the planets too
I gonna That mars looks nice
You can add hydrogen instead of increasing the mass
Have they added nebula yet?
imagine if we can terraform these planets in real life 😲😏
The thing is, we can
I don't think so but we cannot terraform the moon and mercury
@@Limezzart11222 we probably can,it'd take forever though, probably not mercury, since its so close to to sun
how about we move mercury to the habitable zone
@@Limezzart11222 still impossible
thanks for do this videos
Wait, aren’t you the creator of Universe Sandbox? Or was it Space Engine? I’m not sure.
He wasn’t even a dev or tester of them
The lowest elevation on Mars is on the north not the south!
Don't tell the British
Wel one found you
Mars is mostly highland in the south
Cool vid
what about terraform moons of jupiter saturn uranus and neptune
👁👅👁 👍
You colonized Mercury Venus The moon also called Luna and Mars and the only dwarf planet in the astroid belt it’s called ceres
W
Makes Ceres a WaterWorld
You can add hydrogen to the moon so we can have water
Hi guys!
Cool
Congrats on being first
That’s Overkill
