In 2022, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner went to the dentist with a toothache, which turned out to be osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, in his jaw. The Mayor had surgery followed by six weeks of radiation, and today is “cancer-free.”
This #MensHealthMonth, the Mayor joins Blue Cure, and founder Gabe Canales, in encouraging men to pay attention to your body and #GetChecked!
