In a recent interview, she said Zig is "part 1" of a project, and she can't say much at the moment. She also hinted to the VIPs of her previous tour that Zig may receive a deluxe edition, so we can only wait and see!
I think she's gonna release "Zag" as well (she said it in the interview in zacksangshow) so we may or may not get a metal/rock songs. But my definitely top 3 are What It Becomes, The Attic, and Prove It.
I like this album a lot. I love What it Becomes (depeche mode realness) and Flicker, 1s + 0s, and Linger. I already Like it better than Flux and I'm already listening to it more than both albums
Poppy is our mommy 😩😩😩 Motorbike is still my fav but Prove It is a very close 2nd xD All the songs are great tho like all her other songs ever but I need a bit more time with 1s + 0s prolly cuz of the odd time signature (7/8)
1s +0s is a bit of a prog challenge. I do a fair amount of complex classical stuff and I can definitely confirm it is full grade chewy. You would probably have to go to Igorrr to be more rhythmically perplexed. Radiohead Kid A or Amnesiac is a slightly easier going. I love the fact that she has just flung this prog weirdness into the middle of it all, turned on her heel and marched off. Most of the songs in this album are old friends already.

Zig is far from being my favorite Poppy project but it's definitely a decent one. i enjoy this dark industrial club vibe she has going on in it. btw Poppy pretty much conformed Zag in her latest interview which is really exciting!!
Poppy said Zag sounds like something she would do(release), therefore i don't think it's actually happening. She is a pretty big troll in interviews ;) My fav part of this release are the parts between the opening and closing notes ;) Give 1's & 0s a few more tries, it's a grower.
Another great reaction! I think Poppy did a great job with this album- it's a real "chewy" slow burner that the listener needs to invest in. To help with 1s + 0s she goes prog- it has 7 beats in the bar all the way through and is very rythmically challenging. These songs are going to sound magic live.
I think in this album she projected a lot from her femininity and sexuality which is not something we were used to from her. It was also a lot more personal and less enigmatic in my opinion. I enjoyed the project and we’ll see about part two but I do have to say it definitely feels more mainstream which it’s probably part of the point, Poppy shamelessly jumps between worlds and always manages to remain authentic in any form she assumes. Always enjoy your reactions 💕
I really hope you‘ll react to her RUclips videos when you’re done with the songs. I think they‘re really important to understand POPPY as a whole. Btw my favorites are Church Outfit, Zig and Prove it ❤

I was waiting your reaction!!! So good to have followed all of yours Poppy's reactions, I'll be waiting for the singles' reactions. My fav Zig song is What It Become. Initially I was a little confused by some of the tracks, but upon relistening I became obsessed with all of them, i think some songs just take a bit of time.
My favorites are Linger, The Attic, What it Becomes😍 I do not resonate at all with Zig but at least the album was strong enough, Zig and 1s + 0s are my least favourite. But in overall strong album in my opinion 🔥
love this album, maybe it isn't my favorite from her (i like "i disagree and flux more) but i can say i really enjoy most of the tracks of this record.
