just picked up a pair of these today. replaced 4 mackie thumps 15a's with just 2 of these JBL's. By doing so, I've more than doubled my wattage output and reduced my setup to less than half. I'm stoked!!! Can't wait to use them for the first time. possible add a sub at a later point, but for now, I think these will be more than perfect.
Unfortunately, it does not have Bluetooth. It has 1/4 jack input with the built in mixer. You can get an adapter from 1/4 to 1/8 which is what your typical headphone jack uses. There is no built in battery. It must be connected to a power source all times.
NICE!!! I have 315 + 518 so just a little smaller brother :) 515XT with that sub will blow ur head off :D I would like to hear that. 315 match the sub quite well, 515Xt would sound awesome with two subs...
pree3431 Yes, you can. The daisy chain goes from on output of one jbl and then goes into the input of the other, so you still have one output for one sub.
I hate powered speakers you can't even hit the peek without them going boom on you don't get me wrong there good in there own way but i like to use one's with an amp that isn't built into the speakers.

can you run a powered sub straight out the mixer on the back of this speaker
