extremely happy to see SK building great tools again and that they never folded or became a low end tool maker a few years ago when all that turmoil was taking place. i really try and support that brand! thanks for the great review
I don't see all they hype with the flank drive type wrench. A good mechanic knows you break bolts loose with the closed end. Also use the closed end to add a cheater wrench for more leverage. Haha!
Nice test. Better than most. Just received my two sets of x-frames. Very nice fit and finish. When I am working in a blind spot , (and there are many in the engine compartment these days), I prefer no offset .otherwise I probably would be using an offset wrench or socket. A test that really would show the strength is an old fastener that has been rained on a bit and is a flush ,non chrome surface and you're trying to get the sucker off without having to chisel it out because the fastener has rusted or some idiot before you has tried to take it off with a set of Chinese tools and rounded it over. 12 point sockets and wrenches are also notorious for doing that to really stubborn nuts and bolts. Except for 3/4 inch drive sockets , I always use hex sockets or wrenches for the stubborn stuff. If you haven't worked on a tractor where the bolt has been loctited in.....you haven't worked on stubborn. :-) What I am really hoping for on the new xframes is that the reversal resistance is low enough such that when putting on or taking off a new fastenor that it actually ratchets light enough so that I spend a minmum amount of time fingering it on or off the threads after I have broken it free, especially since I am working in a blind spot. A tip for viewers . Ratchets often come greased. Right from the start I replace the grease with high quality synthetic motor oil and oil frequently. I have been doing this on old sk 60 tooth ratchets for about 35 years now. Please don't tell me it will wear the ratchet head out. If synthetic oil is good on a camshaft for 100 thousand miles....it is most likely ok on a ratchet..as long as its kept after as it does improve the ratcheting resistance/ friction . IF youre lazy or don't feel like takeing the ratchet apart and don't mind wiping off excess oil ,let the ratchet head sit in a jar of new synthetic motor oil over nite once a week or once every six months if youre a diy'er
I'd really like to see a bend/break test on these...ever think about offering a we-donate to break-test tools type thing? I'm sure I'm not the only one willing to throw a few bucks into seeing how much torque these take to bend/break. Obviously, this would void the warranty as abuse and is cost prohibitive from your side...maybe a future consideration for the channel. Great review, love that you showed the bolt heads so we could see how well it dug into the head.
yeah, that thickness is off putting. I've came upon a situations.. even one today where my mac wrench open end couldn't squeeze behind a washer to hold a nut. i would've happily sacrificed one of my cheapoes to a grinder and made it fit but i was out in the field. anyways. what I wanted to tell anyone out there getting into the profession looking for the best wrench set. whatever you by, go buy some cheapies (like craftsman raise panels) to back up your good set. you can modify the cheapies and it can very well bail you out of situations. thanks for reading.
i'll agree with that. also when i'm hammering on something with the impact and using a wrench to hold a nut i like the cheapies as well. you can eventually bomb out the wrenches with the impact.
I just grab the cheapies for 97c out of the bargain bin, not CR-V, so they'll rust, they look off and they're weak so wear gloves but that's not really what they're used for - Like you say cut and grub 'em as you need.
These are the types of videos I like. Someone actually using the wrenches and proving they are actually worth the money. Hate videos of people holding the wrench and just saying yeah its a good wrench trust me.
The flank drive plus on the snapon wrenches is amazing. I just bought a set after borrowing my friends a few times for some stubborn tie rods while doing alignments. They grip where all my other wrenches slip. I will say though, they damage whatever you put them on. Those teeth really grip in and can leave burrs
A fastener is generally cheaper to replace than a a well made wrench, save your knuckles and hand. When a fastener is to tight or partially seized you need a tool with grit. Tool markings on a fastener is a sign of a good tool or lesser grade fastener , just a fact of life. GO SNAP ON!
Impressive well done demonstration! I still think the teeth are a gimmick. How many fasteners are going to be that tight? Would you rather deal with a rounded off fastener or a broken off bolt that will be a bitch to remove? What is worse?
a month after I bought my snap-on flank drive plus solids, I felt like I waisted my money when I found the SK X frame go for about the same size. I do like how much more slender the Snap-on wrenches are over the bulk of the X frames. but the ratcheting end of the SK makes up for it in my eyes. I really love my snap on tools but snap on is over priced.
Quiz: how much torque does the SK apply to those two extra faces? Zero. The top jaw is in tension so that first inside face is experiencing force pulling it away from the fastener. Zero torque there. Imagine a wrench with just those two faces, you can only apply torque if you apply a large amount of force towards the fastener prior to turning it. But most people use wrenches by applying force perpendicular to the wrench. Those extra faces are useless which is why properly engineered wrenches don’t have them. In fact that sharp corner creates a stress riser that degrades performance and makes wrench failure more likely.
Hey man great job on the video. It would be cool to see you do the same 3 brands and see just what it takes to bend them? Different thicknesses. The grips on the rear of the SK I dont think are effective at all. The reason a bolt head gets rounded is because when enough pressure is placed on the jaws of the wrench the spread open and then cause the wrench to round off the bolt head. So as long as the jaws stay 9/16" it shouldnt slip. But at some point I would guess all steel would spread once put under enough force. Again great video man!
I am surprised you did not mention that with the thicker frame of the SK when using higher torque, that extra bit of thickness would make if more comfortable than the Snap-on and WrightGRIP too.
While i realize this video is in regards to the open end portion of each wrench, I purchased the SK X frame set a short time ago and upon first use with the 1/2 inch ratcheting end, all internals came falling out. Perhaps a beat set or poor manufacturing I am not sure, never really knew of SK having poor manufacturing so hopefully it was just a dud. Either way, thanks for another great video.
smw 1982 I am on my 3rd warranty set of my xframes! Awesome when they but very unreliable because the gear head does not come lubed from the factory! They seized/rust and damn near impossible to put all the little gears back together. However they do grab onto anything! I have yet to break the ratcheting end from straight torque, my newest set I’ve been soaking in diesel oil , so far so so good one month later!
I got these SK's. Decent wrench, although overpriced in my opinion. The ratcheting box end does work nicely, but is beefy, no offset, can create clearance issues. The wrench body is beefy to handle torque load, but the wrench is not long enough to allow the user to take advantage of their strength. Sure you can put a pipe over them or similar, but again clearance may not allow. Did you also notice how the 8mm and 10mm are the same frame? They just changed head size. Same length, same size.
Real Tool Reviews Yeah. I feel with the X-Frame the advantage is in the ratcheting head. They should incorporate that into all their wrenches, and ditch the bulky frame. Have you seen the rest of SK's wrench line up? Very nice. They would be very competitive if they did as I mentioned.
+siucbset Not quite the same idea as far as the end goes....the WERA has the metal plate, and these have teeth machined into the metal. Also, I dont have a 9/16 WERA wrench --- only metric sizes.
Either way, all 3 are great to own, I would get SK either way because a straight body comes in handy more times then you would expect then pick one of the other 2.
My only gripe is that the SK SAE ratcheting set is only 7 piece. I guess those are the most commonly needed, and I don't mind paying more for American, but it's hard not to go for the Taiwanese brands that offer 13 piece sets for 30% cheaper.
Owned a set of SK for a while...Felt like the 7pc SAE set was worth the money but do not like the following: Weight Thickness No offset Aesthetics of finish inside of the void areas inside the shank Open end felt like it was almost designed too tightly to fastener size as it seemed more difficult to fit this wrench than other high end offerings Also, never loved the sound/feel of the teeth engaging...just didn’t feel as nice as some of the other high end ratchet wrenches
ive had a sk 19mm line wrench for two years now and have barely used it and noticed chrome flaking. SO warranties for flaking chrome because snap on chrome never flakes off.
I beg to differ. I have several snap on wrenches that are flaked to shit at the both ends. But I also use them a fuck ton. I won’t replace them because they tell a story and show their worth.
I wonder if you should have used softer bolts. Seems like grade 5 is more likely to round off than a grade 8. I’m also curious about the sk ratchet end is it truly stronger than others or is it just hype
I like your new vise! I think you should have used the standard SK super chrome combo's or just compared Snap On's ratcheting wrench to the new SK X-Frames. These are different products for similar uses. Good review regardless and I always enjoy your well produced videos.
+Mark Fox Thanks! The reason I chose to use the Snap-on and WrightGrip, is that they are the only two which had successfully completed the mandrel/grade 8 bolt shear test.....specifically because of the open end. The standard SK wrenches and just about every other manufacturer dont use a gripping design and will round off bolts VS locking onto them.
The X frame looks nice, they lightened up the weight with the cutouts but now you have a wrench with openings in the shaft getting full of grease and whatever, not a big deal but we all like to keep our tools clean . Myself if prefer a slimline wrench, nice review.
great review! some time ago, your review of Wera Jokers and I bought a set. At the time, there was not SK xframe yet. I want the SK xframe now!!! I wish you had included the Wera Jokers but I guess they aren't American. Thanks for your reviews, very helpful!
+Carlos PenaGarrido Thanks Carlos! The WERA set that I have is metric.....the bolt in this test was a 9/16", so even if I wanted to the sizes wouldnt have worked out. Glad to know you like the reviews! Enjoy the Weras! :)
You should have used ratcheting wrenches from all 3 I believe the grip part style is also available in the ratchet style in both wright and snap on when referencing the off set I realize you are comparing open ends I did enjoy the vid thanks
Like the review! Jet tools is also running a combo wrench with teeth on the open end. I would be curious to compare them as well. I use the flank drive.. Best wrench I've ever used. Keep up the great reviews!
Great review! Now can you do a comparison of some more affordable tools for the Diyer like Craftsman and Tekton and the like.I know you have reviewed the Tekton wrenches but would be nice to see a comparison Thanks.
Great Video as Always!! However, I want to see how strong that ratcheting boxed end is. After all, SK redesigned the beam of the wrench with those cut outs because a regular beam wasn't strong enough. Let's go, ACTION!! Compare ratcheting boxed ends SK/PROTO/Gearwrench/Carlyle/? see if the ratcheting boxed ends are strong enough to shear the grade 8 bolt. Let's go, inquiring minds want to know
I dont buy the xframe design being necessitated out of the higher torque capabilities of the tool. Given the thickness of the rest of the tool specifically the box end and the fact that they forge the teeth, I'm guessing they use grades of steel that aren't as strong as say Snap On or Mac or the made in Taiwans.
great review. this is the one I have been waiting for. it's nice to see sk making a longer wrench and one that has the nonslip open end. hopefully they will put the non slip open end on all their wrenches.
+matt gordon Good point Matt.....hopefully they will introduce the non-ratcheting versions with that open end....it was nice to see it perform as well (or better) than the Snap on & WrightGRIP!
+non yobussiness Haha :) Then I couldnt do future comparison videos ;) I have tried getting Carlyle in for reviews, but they seem uninterested at the current moment. If that changes, I will see what I can do.
+DigitalYojimbo I agree....and/or the "fork" bends/dents/spreads --- as it does with most open ends on wrenches....these are unique in the fact that they lock on and dont let go.
good review. but pointless. its combo wrenches and a ratchet wrench. id like to see a review of ratchet wrenches on that madrial thingy.. lets see what wont brake. have the SK on order for the last month just wish they made bigger ones for me.. i work on trucks
+Real Tool Reviews gripping ability of the open end? if anyone is going to dog down on a nut or bolt they use a box end wrench and a pipe i just dont get it. is gripping ability really that important? there never was a problem before they came out with the flank drive or what ever they call it..
+ohblondi Impact Driver....you can use a 1/4" hex to 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" adapter to use sockets when needed & also use it around the house on tons of projects. You need an impact wrench if you are doing a lot of automotive repair, but most people can get by perfectly fine with an impact driver.
+Jo Mendoza you can't buy them...Wright Tools makes them specifically to do this demo. But, it's basically an open ended lugnut....you might be able to try that.
Real Tool Reviews Wow thanks for the reply. So when will you make the video showing all the brands capable of shearing a bolt head off? That way everyone can buy the cheapest wrench that can sheer heads off
+turbobuick33 Yes....that is set # 80019 & comes with 8mm-19mm. The SAE set just started shipping, and I am now seeing the metric set online, but it has not made it's way to Amazon yet. I would assume it will show up soon.
The first issue you have mentioned, wrench thickness, is one that is frustrating with todays cheaper tools. Too thick, and it's impossible to get in tight spaces! It's been my experience, that the better quality tools can be thinner, and still do the job-even better, and are usually made out of better steel.
When did everyone start putting pauses with unrelated pictures in the middle of the videos? I realize that it used to use the random spot in the vid for the preview. but I guess someone decided they can place whatever pic they want there instead so that the preview shows what they want it to show instead? It's ridiculous having to restart every single video on RUclips because of this.
+Real Tool Reviews not the ad, the preview picture of your video. At 1 min and something, it just stops on a single frame that's been edited in so as to show up in the little TV next to the title when you look at search results.
+blazer6248 single frame that has nothing to do with what's going on in the video at the time. A single frame Completely out of place because it was edited in for the sole purpose of it showing up as the vid preview.
Like I said.....I have nothing to do with ads RUclips inserts into my videos. I assume you mean the "suggested video" it typically adds --- normally that is a recent vid it auto-populates. I do not insert them.
+Real Tool Reviews no. It's NOT AN AD. IT'S THE PREVIEW PICTURE OF YOUR VIDEO. A PICTURE OF THE CURRENT VIDEO PLAYING. NOT AN AD FOR A DIFFERENT PRODUCT. IT'S THE THUMBNAIL SHOWED NEC TO THE TITLE OF YOUR VIDEO. YOU KNOW THAT PICTURE IN THERE? THAT.
Why are you comparing ratcheting wrench with combination wrenches? You should've tested the ratcheting sides of each of those brands. this video proves nothing at all. Of course that stubby little nut is going to break.
extremely happy to see SK building great tools again and that they never folded or became a low end tool maker a few years ago when all that turmoil was taking place. i really try and support that brand! thanks for the great review
+Kyle Van Thanks Kyle! I agree....great to know they are not sacrificing jobs & quality for more profits.

best tool reviews on youtube by far.
You and 57,000 other people make that possible! :) Thanks!
Real Tool Reviews keep up the good work. thanks for the videos.
Wouldn't a softer grade bolt be more likely to round the head? I'd expect the Grade 8 to be the least likely to round.
I'd really like to see a bend/break test on these...ever think about offering a we-donate to break-test tools type thing? michael carden Don't forget when they say "to be honest, I like these" or "to be honest, these are great wrenches" 5 times... Useless.
michael carden great vid! need to do sockets since there are many opinions on those
Well said mate
The best tool salesman on the internet. I know this is an old video, but you do a great job.
Hahaha....thanks!
@@RealToolReviews I hope you come up with some new videos some day. :-)
As a retired oil field worker you will never find a better impact socket than wright as well as there hammer wrenches, period.
now lets see if the x-frame box end will shear off the bolt head or if the mechanism will let go first
+SgtPnkks Check out my newest video ;)
The flank drive plus on the snapon wrenches is amazing. I just bought a set after borrowing my friends a few times for some stubborn tie rods while doing alignments. They grip where all my other wrenches slip. I will say though, they damage whatever you put them on. Those teeth really grip in and can leave burrs
+kevin smith They make a sound too if you listen carefully it's pretty funny.
A fastener is generally cheaper to replace than a a well made wrench, save your knuckles and hand. When a fastener is to tight or partially seized you need a tool with grit. Tool markings on a fastener is a sign of a good tool or lesser grade fastener , just a fact of life. GO SNAP ON!
Go wrightgrip!
Joe Walsh They are the most under rated USA made wrench. Tough as nails.
Impressive well done demonstration! I still think the teeth are a gimmick. How many fasteners are going to be that tight?
Would you rather deal with a rounded off fastener or a broken off bolt that will be a bitch to remove? What is worse?
Went for Wright wrenches because they offer massive 18 piece sets for fraction the price of Snap-On.
try these wrenches on seized inner tie rod ends
a month after I bought my snap-on flank drive plus solids, I felt like I waisted my money when I found the SK X frame go for about the same size. I do like how much more slender the Snap-on wrenches are over the bulk of the X frames. but the ratcheting end of the SK makes up for it in my eyes. Wasted not "waisted". Like the belt around your waist!

I watch a lot VIDEO ABOUT FINALLY SOME BODY USING GRADE 8 BOLT 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey man great job on the video. It would be cool to see you do the same 3 brands and see just what it takes to bend them? Different thicknesses. So as long as the jaws stay 9/16" it shouldnt slip. But at some point I would guess all steel would spread once put under enough force. Again great video man!
The sk back surface would add very little if any any additional grip. Opposing sides need to be in contact to get any friction.
I'd like to see a comparison between each wrench on a rounded bolt head.
That SK set looks absolutely incredible!
would like to see this test with the new Milwaukee combo wrenches added to the mix...
What happened to this guy? Did the china flu get him or something? His videos were always top notch.
Well... I got a like from the channel so I hope that means the man is still alive and kickin'.
I am surprised you did not mention that with the thicker frame of the SK when using higher torque, that extra bit of thickness would make if more comfortable than the Snap-on and WrightGRIP too.
Nice Job. I've always used and liked SK TOOLS. LjN
Wright is a great tool company
Can you do a test between Sockets? Snap-On Flank Drive Xtra vs Matco Pro Non-Slip vs Gear Wrench Bolt Biter? Thank you.
Any of these? Milwaukee ? Or wera joker? Just trying to make it easy. Money isn’t far off for either so not a main factor. Please and thank you
Tekton ratcheting wrenches look good for 100
The SK is like 3 times the size and super beefy, then they put two holes in it to weaken it up...why!?
No regrets when I bought both sets last month.I use them more than my Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches now.
+Scott Watkin Hopefully just a manufacturer defect....I have heard overwhelmingly good feedback from people who bought them.
smw 1982 always gonna be a few that fall apart first time they get put to work.
smw 1982 I am on my 3rd warranty set of my xframes! Awesome when they but very unreliable because the gear head does not come lubed from the factory! They seized/rust and damn near impossible to put all the little gears back together. However they do grab onto anything! +Lynx Star Automotive (Gabe V) I will pass that along....I agree.....the non-slip open end would be a valuable addition to their entire line.
Any suggestions on lubrication of the SK X-Frames?
Wera: How could you perform this comparison and not include the Wera combination wrench?
+siucbset Not quite the same idea as far as the end goes....the WERA has the metal plate, and these have teeth machined into the metal. Also, I dont have a 9/16 WERA wrench --- only metric sizes.
can you do a review like this of the matco anti slip open end wrenches
Either way, all 3 are great to own, I would get SK either way because a straight body comes in handy more times then you would expect then pick one of the other 2.
Should test Milwaukee's new ratcheting wrenches
Love some SK.👍
My only gripe is that the SK SAE ratcheting set is only 7 piece. I guess those are the most commonly needed, and I don't mind paying more for American, but it's hard not to go for the Taiwanese brands that offer 13 piece sets for 30% cheaper.
Owned a set of SK for a while...Felt like the 7pc SAE set was worth the money but do not like the following:
Weight
Thickness
No offset
Aesthetics of finish inside of the void areas inside the shank
Open end felt like it was almost designed too tightly to fastener size as it seemed more difficult to fit this wrench than other high end offerings
Also, never loved the sound/feel of the teeth engaging...just didn’t feel as nice as some of the other high end ratchet wrenches
I doubt the SK 4 point makes any difference. If it did, all good wrenches would have it. You can't compare a box end to a ratcheting end.
ive had a sk 19mm line wrench for two years now and have barely used it and noticed chrome flaking. SO warranties for flaking chrome because snap on chrome never flakes off.
It's a tool not a Barbie doll
I beg to differ. I have several snap on wrenches that are flaked to shit at the both ends. But I also use them a fuck ton. I won’t replace them because they tell a story and show their worth.

very good video, i think you should of show the bolt head around, is the sk really has two extra grab points?
I really like the teeth in the open end... if you need to get a rounded off bolt out. Otherwise they just damage the fastener.
It would be cool to see the new HF Icon wrenches tested against these, since the Icons apparently have some sort of teeth.
The three best wrenches on the planet sans the rbrts
Those X-frames look pretty nice! Great vid.
+Wild Goose Thanks! :)
The tool needs to make contact with opposing surfaces to get any friction. The shape and markings on the back of that SK are for show only.
Good review!
They probably didn't envisage you getting so much use out of that box of bolts or the test mandrel when they sent them to you.
I like your new vise! I think you should have used the standard SK super chrome combo's or just compared Snap On's ratcheting wrench to the new SK X-Frames. These are different products for similar uses.

Should have had the Proto also, just because it is also in the same class, in my opinion.
best spanner was the snap-on XM-Series with the tube grip everytime light weight tool with good grip
why wouldn't you review all ratcheting box ends?
great review! some time ago, your review of Wera Jokers and I bought a set.
The shape of the sk is stupid
Great comparison video! I like Snap-On but for the same quality and a cheaper price I'd rather get the WrightGrip or SK

You should have used ratcheting wrenches from all 3 I believe the grip part style is also available in the ratchet style in both wright and snap on when referencing the off set I realize you are comparing open ends I did enjoy the vid thanks
+john gibson Wright does not make ratcheting wrenches.
Like the review! Jet tools is also running a combo wrench with teeth on the open end. I would be curious to compare them as well. I use the flank drive.. Best wrench I've ever used. Keep up the great reviews!
+Josh Swanson Thanks Josh! I have not seen the JET version, I will check them out...thanks!
Do you have the ability to test a Williams SuperCombo wrench? I understand it is supposed to have grip serrations like these three.
+Brian Reed I will see what I can do....thanks for the suggestion!
I had no idea there was such a thing on open-end wrenches now
Great review! Now can you do a comparison of some more affordable tools for the Diyer like Craftsman and Tekton and the like.I know you have reviewed the Tekton wrenches but would be nice to see a comparison Thanks.
+Charlie Thompson Thanks Charlie! I will see what I can do....thanks for the suggestion!
Craftsman is dead to me
Can you try that with the new Milwaukee wrenches?
Have you tested the Matco opti torque wrenches?
You should've used a thicket bolt!
Let's go, inquiring minds want to know
+Fedwrench Thanks! (and thanks for the suggestion!)
Those cutouts subtract strength from the beam which is counterproductive to the efforts they put in to make a super beefy wrench.
TENG TOOLS please. Subbed
Do a bid with icon head on with them. Great vid
great review. this is the one I have been waiting for. it's nice to see sk making a longer wrench and one that has the nonslip open end. hopefully they will put the non slip open end on all their wrenches.
+matt gordon Good point Matt.....hopefully they will introduce the non-ratcheting versions with that open end....it was nice to see it perform as well (or better) than the Snap on & WrightGRIP!
I have to get this wrench set!!
Sure wish I get a set of SK x-frame I've had a set on order for months...
+jlgrrt1 They are definitely long-awaited. I am looking forward to finally getting to use the Metric ones (now that they are finally shipping).
you should send me all those sets. it will make you feel happy...lol. jk. Another great review man. BTW are you ever going to do a Carlyle review?
+non yobussiness Haha :) Then I couldnt do future comparison videos ;) I have tried getting Carlyle in for reviews, but they seem uninterested at the current moment. If that changes, I will see what I can do.
+Real Tool Reviews thanks for replying. Carlyle is losing out for sure. Your reviews are the gold standard on RUclips.
I find that one of the "forks" of the wrench breaks way before the wrench itself.
+DigitalYojimbo I agree....and/or the "fork" bends/dents/spreads --- as it does with most open ends on wrenches....these are unique in the fact that they lock on and dont let go.
Would they grip on a Fastener that's been rounded off already
Probably not......buy some Knipex Cobra pliers....they will.
This is money!!!! Great comparison
all 3 also ruin the corrosion protective coating on the fasteners. seems like bad news if you live in an area with salt water or the rust belt
great video 👍🏼
good review. but pointless. its combo wrenches and a ratchet wrench. id like to see a review of ratchet wrenches on that madrial thingy.. lets see what wont brake. have the SK on order for the last month just wish they made bigger ones for me.. i work on trucks
The point....as I stated....was to prove the gripping ability of the open end.
+Real Tool Reviews gripping ability of the open end? if anyone is going to dog down on a nut or bolt they use a box end wrench and a pipe i just dont get it. is gripping ability really that important? there never was a problem before they came out with the flank drive or what ever they call it..
+George Rodriguez Jam nuts
Sk is the demons wokken
do a tekton wrench set
For diy stuff would you recommend a impact driver or a impact wrench
+Joseph Fajardo wrench
+ohblondi Impact Driver....you can use a 1/4" hex to 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" adapter to use sockets when needed & also use it around the house on tons of projects. You need an impact wrench if you are doing a lot of automotive repair, but most people can get by perfectly fine with an impact driver.
So where dose one get a mandrel ? I been trying to google it and all I get is drimmel parts
+Jo Mendoza you can't buy them...Wright Tools makes them specifically to do this demo. But, it's basically an open ended lugnut....you might be able to try that.
Real Tool Reviews
Wow thanks for the reply. So when will you make the video showing all the brands capable of shearing a bolt head off? That way everyone can buy the cheapest wrench that can sheer heads off
what happened to this channel?
I took a break.
@@RealToolReviews ok...well I hope your doing well!
@@RealToolReviews Hope you're doing well. Miss your reviews, honest and straightforward. You were one of the few not pushing an agenda.
Does the SK X-Frame come in Metric sizes?
+turbobuick33 Yes....that is set # 80019 & comes with 8mm-19mm. The SAE set just started shipping, and I am now seeing the metric set online, but it has not made it's way to Amazon yet. I would assume it will show up soon.
+turbobuick33 yes
The first issue you have mentioned, wrench thickness, is one that is frustrating with todays cheaper tools. Too thick, and it's impossible to get in tight spaces! It's been my experience, that the better quality tools can be thinner, and still do the job-even better, and are usually made out of better steel.
👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
When did everyone start putting pauses with unrelated pictures in the middle of the videos? I realize that it used to use the random spot in the vid for the preview. but I guess someone decided they can place whatever pic they want there instead so that the preview shows what they want it to show instead? It's ridiculous having to restart every single video on RUclips because of this.
RUclips controls ads....not me.
THAT.
...long time sk user ...american made quality, at alot cheaper price than the "rape-van"
Why are you comparing ratcheting wrench with combination wrenches? You should've tested the ratcheting sides of each of those brands. this video proves nothing at all. Of course that stubby little nut is going to break.
