  • The Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor, New Jersey is absolutely filled with wildlife: nesting birds like Green Herons, Laughing Gulls and Red-winged Blackbirds, Horseshoe Crabs looking for a spot to deposit their eggs and same for the Diamondback Terrapin turtles. A two hours trip there was filled with wonderful sights!

Such a wonderful place filled with so much beauty. A friend who lives in South Jersey and I think there seems to be an over-abundance of Willets this year. They sure do make a lot of noise. One of my favorite spots to visit is the visitor center near Ocean City, NJ where the rookery is located. I try to take the ferry over from Delaware a few times a year, but I missed the nesting season this year. Thanks for sharing scenes from this important spot along the Jersey coast.

Oh my yes, willets are so loud! I love them though. And yes, the Ocean City visitor center is spectacular! I have a couple videos from there. ruclips.net/video/Zdp_hPfSkGg/видео.html
