You’re right .. really not good enough! … I was following it on the CCFC ‘Live Text ‘ from over here in the states and the thing that struck me was the amount of fouls … committed by both sides! . When the game is broken up like that with stoppage after stoppage it just stifles play. Anyhoo Cov didn’t lose which is good but losing points in this part of the season is not!. Norwich is going to be a tough test … hopefully Sheaf will be back for that one 🤞 … thanks for recording and sharing Alex … ATB ….. PUSB
With 7 changes from the Wednesday game and losing Ben Sheaf in midfield early on, a draw wasn't that bad.
We rested players against Wednesday. This was our strongest side.

Not a good result, but I'm not surprised! Alex you can't go throwing your weetabix on the floor just because we did not win. Bristol City have the same ambitions as we do, the Sky Blues are knackered after playing twice on the heavy Hillsborough pitch inside a week. Now we have lost our midfield stalwart, Ben Sheaf! I think you need to step back and be more realistic. Matty Godden has run his bollocks off playing for this club, running him down as you do will not add to his confidence? Yes, we would all like Yockers and Gus still here, but we have to deal with reality and support the team we have!

I agree that Matty G struggles on his own up front, especially given his skill set is neither pace or old fashioned hold up centre forward.
He's a sniper. The worry is Simms is like Bamby on ice at times, and Hadji can't head a ball and neither have enough pace to frighten defenders.

10 mins until the first effort on goal! This formation isn't working for us and Godden isn't even getting crumbs. Looked better with Haji on the left so hopefully he's back fully now.

You are such a clown, even blaming godden when he wasn’t playing, put factors in that he is playing by himself, we looked better when we had two forwards on the pitch, godden would have looked better if wroght or simms was on the pitch. If simms had Goddens work rate or finishing he would be starting. I agree godden isn’t good enough to start by himself, but it’s the system not the player. Godden has 3x more goals than simms in this season alone. Neither are good enough to start atm, but I know who I’d rather infront of goal 😂🤡
Godden was playing. He had 0 shots in the space of an hour making 2 passes and touching the ball 11 times. Simms came on, scored. Made five passes and touched the ball 13 times.
We talk about work rate. If you watch videos from earlier in the season I praised Godden. I like the bloke. But we have players we spent millions on just sat on the bench who when needed contribute more. Simms is 23. His first real run at a club and he’s sat on the bench a lot to really contribute. If a player isn’t pulling his weight I’m not gonna sit and say they’ve played well.
Piss poor performance similar to the last Shef Wednesday game. Not sure whether it's a fatigue related performance or if the lads are just having a few shite performances.

Genuine question. Why is the away support so poor of yours? A few hundred to Coventry on a Tuesday night, assume you bring more on a Saturday. Just like said in the video it’s not too far and you get 20000+ at home games

They probably had near 1000 I bet. Not terrible and for those there they did make a noise tbf.
