Thank you for the video :D Helping me make a switch to VS Code!
Thanks for this video. I think you have a more upgraded VSC. I don't have the same things on my View. I already updated my version to Nov 2018 update. How do I update to your version?
Okay, wrote "our first code" but you never showed us how to run/launch it... That seems like a huge oversight not to show that in a tutorial video.
sub-title italian for tutoriarl and all video please man.
As long as it is not 64 bits long!
i like it how majority of the things you're talking about isn't in my visual studio code
HE'S USING A MAC REPEAT HE'S USING A MAC RIP WINDOWS USERS!

Thank you so much for taking your time to record this awesome, high quality, great and super well explained intro to VS Code! Learned a couple of cool new tricks! Thanks from Canada!
Glad it was helpful, thanks so much Victor!
One basic things you didn't mention how to run project in vs code which is problem for beginners.
How do I run it though, cos that is why I am searching for it
@@Stressfullless hey can u help me on how to run it ;u;
funny ,same thing here with me. he does not tell us the very basic option and he shows everthing else
@@marcellofabrizio421 Hate to sound like a total noob, but a tutorial for true beginners needs to even establish what/where a PATH is... jumping into VSCode is like opening a book written in Greek and being told to learn it or fail.
@@jcallen3 You're not being a noob, no worries! Many people who start programming have hard times finding out how to set up things, like pats an modules. You can find books or tutorials that will explain this to you, but it will be a specific way for each IDE you're using.
I love the way you explain in your tutorials. You make it a smooth ride
Hey mate, Just wanted to say that this was extremely. interesting and informative and as someone who's been using VSC for about 6 months, it was very helpful! Sometimes just going back to the basics and explaining things slowly is the better way. Big thanks
I actually learn a lot in this video. Thank you very much and continue with the good content
I like your tuts, This is very helpful to me :)
It's one of the best overview of coding i've learnt so far
Getting back into programming from a background in MATLAB. Super useful. Thank you!
Happy to read that Tobias, thanks a lot!
Started in MATLAB too, great language for what it's made for, pity its so expensive!
This is gold. Been using this tool in a similar way to Atom. Never knew about all this functionality. Great intro to the power of VS Code.
thank you m8 , helped me a lot for a guy who is novice to coding !
love this video!!! super clear instructions :) ready to begin coding now
Make sure you all stick around to watch the last 10 minutes when he covers Workspaces! Great stuff! Thank you!
Happy to read that you liked it, thanks so much!
Thanks for this detailed tut. It helphs me a lot for making my projects quicker and easier
Hi bro
Thank you for your useful tutorial!
Loving this video, new to VS Code and this has been super helpful!
i searched more & more finally i find which i want in your video ...good job..💪💪🙏
This really helped me getting started with VSC! Thank you so much!
Cool video so thanks. I don't recall if you discussed templates much. You showed, for instance, how, by typing HTML + you were able to instantly create an HTML skeleton. But you didn't explain that you can create your own smart templates, and I think that's a pretty important feature for power users.
Thank you for a great introduction to how to use the Visual Studio Code Panels...I really needed this info to get going.
man i learnt your power bi course in udemy ... loved your explanations ... thanks for this one 👌🏻
Cheers mate, very helpful introductory video!
That helped me a lot! Thanks!
Ganz ganz ganz tolles Video. Hat mir sehr gefallen. Und war auch sehr informativ!
A very good video, very informative for a beginner user! Thank you :)
Awesome and much needed video. Thanks to Academind!
Thank you, a very good introduction to VS Code.
As a new coding student, this was ETREMELY helpful even better than my teacher. I will be a coding beast soon. Thanks!!!
u a coding beast already? lol
@@AvarageMilkEnjoyer "soon" love, she said "soon" ;)
Been a whole year now
omg, as someone who use VS Code without read any tutorial, this video very clear and helpful, just clicked the Subscribe button..
Awesome to have you on board Navaro, thank you :)
Very nice, i'm starting learning, so i needed an introduction, thanks for making this types of videos, this is a good introduction for VS Code.
This video is awesome - You gave us a TON of info in a beautiful compact video - thank you!
Wow thanks. This is a very helpful and useful video. Of course some of the interface has changed since you recorded this, but I was able to navigate to the specified areas quite easily. Again thank you.
Thank you very much! Your instruction and the timestamp are very useful for tracking info!
Thank you Gam!
This video was awesome, just loved it.
It is a very good introduction to VS Code. Thank you
Thanks bro for getting me clear 💯after just installing VS Code tonight!!
Magnificent tutorial! I wish I could like more than once.
So happy to read that, thank you very very much!
Thank you Manuel. This was an excellent introduction.
Thanks so much for your great feedback Foyah, so happy to read that you liked it!
Thank you, best tutorial on RUclips!
Thank YOU so much! :)
Useful info for beginners like me, thanks for video.
Lol that opening amaze me😂😂
We push our After Effects skills to the limit :D
Fantastic! This is the BEST tutorial I have ever seen showing how to use a program (editor). The tech stuff was awesome, as well as the content. I now know how to use VSC very confidently. If I ever have to make a how-to video (again), I hope it comes close to this high standard.
Glad it helped!
Great format, thanks!
Amazing video! Thank you very much, now I know VSC is really better than Brackets which i used before.
Thanks a lot for your comment Johny, happy to read that you like VS Code :)
Great quick intro to VS Code. I am learning Rust and coming from IntelliJ. The Rust plugins there do not handle several things that VS Code does. So, I need a quick startup for VS Code, how to customize it, how the "logic" for VS Code works. This does just that. Will be looking at more of your tutorials on VS Code. Thanks.
You remind me of my new HTML & CSS Programming Teacher that I started to learn from about this stuff just yesterday. Pretty cool guy!
Thank you! - From a VS Code Beginner
This is really wonder. Really love your work keep it up.
Good day
I am Bright from South Africa and I am learning how to program using the internet. I will like to thank you for this video. The way you explain everything is crystal clear.
I hv been watching different videos in RUclips and starting tomorrow I going to start coding using HTML and CSS.
hows it going?
Did it go well?
HTML is very basic, CSS, not so much. Start wiyh HTML first and more common codes
This is a great video. Kudos! I just subscribed and I look forward to other tutorials. You have a knack for teaching!
The best explanation. Thank you.
I actually learn a lot in this video.
well done. I didn't know that with the custom settings for workspaces and folders. You can just define a color theme and every project will have its own color theme. nice.
Awesome to read that the video was helpful Belal, thank you! The workspaces are indeed very helpful, we also use it quite a lot :)
Well done sir, I want to give you likes because you realized you need to give a free course for something that is free. Unlike some developers, I want to charge money for VSC, which was given to them without money. Praise once again to you.
Great tutorial, thank you very much!
Thank you :)
thank you for the very useful lessson
You are a very good teacher.
Thank u for it I did not know how to use it I’m new to coding
Thanks a lot! Very helpful video!
i like how you explain things
HI. Congratulations excellent way of teach....for a "beginner" is very important see where exactly you do the Clicks, and you do. Step by step.
this guy is great. Learn allot.
It is a very good introduction to VS Code. Thanks
Thank you for this really helpful tutorial!
Please make a complete video on visual studio 2019 tools, its features, tips & tricks etc.
We love Visual Studio Code and use that to learn Python! 🐍🐍🐍
VS code makes my work so fun! Thanks for the tips @Max
We also like it a lot, thank you for your comment Ismaeel :)
Thanks for the nice explanation
This video was very informative!
Awesome video. I learned some amazing tips towards the end. Peace
cool and helpful for a beginner :) all the best !!! cheers
Glad to hear that!
this video is really cool for beginners
I came here because I need to learn how to insert pictures , format paragraphs, or something similar that is simple, yet this guy explains how I can split the editor, or insert Java script..
Thank you for this great video, very helpful 🙏❤
Very informative video, i like your way of saying in my case....
Thank you for your great tutorials
Thanks. Much appreciated.
,,,,,,i am like this old US veteran just starting trying to study some Python via Linkedin Learning courses and so many of them have these little lines and things and back and forth wish I could descibe it better ............well botom lne your tutorial is really cool with yiu in the lower right and the screen with big letters etc ......othe folks well the classes were one can get a certificate it's like did the instructor even try to put themselves in the passenger seat instead of cranking out the tut erg class from the drivers seat .....any how great job Ac....you rock
Wow, Enjoyed this intro. VS Code seems like the future. Can you do another, on how to use it for PHP development, integrating liveserver, linting, etc., please
Very happy to read that you liked the video, thank you! We cannot promise to cover PHP in future VS code videos, but we'll keep it in mind :)
Beautiful explanation dear.
Usefull video, good job and thanks
Manu, I applaud You!
That's so awesome to read, thank you very very much for your support!
Maybe it's good to start a video letting less than beginners know what VS CoDE is used for. I believe that you might be the best one to explain that
Nice video - thanks for sharing!
omg thank you so much for your help
Very thorough and to the point video. Not a half hour of introduction or a 10 minute animated intro. Amazing.
I do some scripting and I use notepad++ but recently visual studio code opened up a few times editing a php script and I really liked it. So I want to use it to keep all my scripts that I edit in the rare chance I’m editing anything.
Thank you a million! :)
Finally someone that will take criticism and help save their failing restaurant
Thanks for the video!
Super explanation - thanks. PS am enjoying your flutter course on Udemy!
Thank you Roger, happy to read that you liked both the video and the Flutter course!
awesome video btw thank you!
Extremely useful.
great video for beginners
I start with visual code and i think it is amazing tool if you want to work with c#,etc
