Banks wont give a flying fuck......I know of a QC in London who banked with Barclays and had some serious cash with them and investments and 3 mortgages . She moved every single penny over £150.00 .She was always in the right from the start .But they just messed her around . If Barclays could afford to say "ok " when she started moving her money .It goes to show you just how fucked the system is .And for all the crypto junkies..... when the system says "No" , you lot are more fucked than a rent boy in The HOuses of Parliament

If they mess around like this again, request to close your acount and withdraw all funds immediately, also request direct contact to the judicial department as your lawyer needs to reach out to issue a suit against loss of income. Explain that you have a binding contract with the bank and their lack of fulfilment in services promised is in breach of the agreement. And has thus cost you clientes and sales... Trust me they get to working quick after that. Hell, I even used the "breach of contract on services promised" on the internet provider when I was in home office and my internet returned pronto with full speed.
Not sure where your at, but when you sign a dotted line for services you tend to forfeit over alot of power. Granted certain situations are different than others, but just threatening wifi providers with breach of contract they tend to not give two shits about that. Your a number to them. A bank on the other hand, you actually can have legal grounds to stand on depending on what they are doing. I've had individual bankers at a branch hold checks for 10days, and other bankers allow the checks to deposit immediately. Which I find extremely frustrating. If your depositing a 10k check and you have 30k in your acct, deposited from this person before numerous times and some bankers allow it to be accessed immediately and others will not, well that's a huge problem. Now imagine what other things those bankers or tellers are doing because they can. Ita fucked. I raised hell several times, and finally contacted a lawyer to reach out. Nothing was officially done, but a few months later now, those employees are no longer there. I dont care for employees fucking off with my Business accts one bit. Get legal help my guy, these people are fucking you

Change Banks asap. 2 Assume it will happen again. 3 Have some of your funds (or a line of credit) with another bank - so if one screws you over, you at least have funds that you can access/do business/pay staff. 4 Keep details of your conversations eg Date, Time, Employee Name - this way the person becomes accountable

I don’t know if there’s a shortage in private banks where you are but if you have a personalised banker that you can build a relationship with and call 24/7 surely that would help the functionality of your company? That’s the issue here in uk, no small private banks, only a monopoly owned by 5 big banks, and with things the way they are, they’re only interested in dealing with big money accounts to make big profits as quickly as possible at less risk….

I agree HSBC is the absolute worst. I banked with them in America. Had over 300 frozen, have been refused to take cash out of my account. They are absolute disaster.They ended up closing my account without notice. Bank with someone else
Was with HSBC, locked me out the same as you. The one time a scammer actually illegally accessed my account, (due to a website leaking log in details) they let them process a payment under a different name and billing address for 3 cases of ciroc vodka. Took me 6 months to get my money back. Changed to Nationwide, speak to customer service in the UK and haven't had a problem
Honestly, sue them and or just report them to NIR (or would that be UK) financial authorities. It is absolutely bonkers what they're doing. Only time I've heard/read about such delays and responses in this context is because the account was tagged and under investigation from authorities.

That bank issue is just crazy. We have a lot of problems here in Brazil, but if a client deals with the amount of the money I imagine you deal and the client GOES to the bank once, I'm 100% it would be solved (even for people with little money is almost impossible not solve things going once to your local agency).

Doris Banham take dogs that no one else will and may never be able to be homed. One of my rescue dogs, Bella, was with them unbelievably for 8 years and I love her dearly. Well HSBC added to the list of banks I refuse to deal with thanks to this disgraceful treatment. I’d start invoicing them the lost income and offset that against what they charge you for payment services. If only it was that easy I guess I work in the utilities industry and we have to legally pay penalties for bad customer service standards and as such it’s one of our most important and reviewed KPIs because at least there’s a financial incentive for these large institutions to treat people right.

Nico! Importamt thing here! Remember to split your finances to at least 2 different bank accounts in two diffferent banks. Thats common practise in poland where our lovely gov. can block your account for almost no reason for weeks! Cheers mate!
Hey Nico, big fan of the channel. One of the best thing we did was partition our banking. We have an incoming account, and outgoing account, and then our cash reserves which includes payroll. This has saved us on numerous occasions as we can always pivot to another account in an emergency. Since our cash reserve account never has anything but internal transfers it can't be compromised. Hope this helps
That’s why you have to keep $10K-$25K in cash in a to go bag hidden in the ceiling or wherever you want to hide it for emergency situations. You never know when you will need it.

Try making a new business account with another bank like Nationwide or Santander and then after verifying your bank account with HSBC move all of your money to the new bank and close this one. Hope it helps :)
Trust me, we absolutely hate it too as an employee. When doing KYC I was not allowed to fill out the industry of a McDonalds myself, they were forced to do it themselves. But you risk loss of license...and the level of ambiguity is endless

Open a 2nd bank account with a different bank and have at least 2 months wages always on that - make that the main to pay the staff. Then you have one account for business, and one for staff compensation.

Consider keeping accounts at at least two banks. My banker advised me to do that just as the last financial crisis was hitting, since only a small sum is government guaranteed in case the bank goes bust. Plus you have options when one of them misbehaves.
I work for a bank. Anything we touch in a client's profile is documented digitally immediately with a clear footprint. Wr can't always allow access to funds sameday for fraud protection cases but the first phone call in a branch should have been the last call.

Open a 2nd bank account with a different bank and have at least 2 months wages always on that - make that the main to pay the staff.

Consider keeping accounts at at least two banks. My banker advised me to do that just as the last financial crisis was hitting, since only a small sum is government guaranteed in case the bank goes bust. Plus you have options when one of them misbehaves.

I work for a bank. Anything we touch in a client's profile is documented digitally immediately with a clear footprint. Wr can't always allow access to funds sameday for fraud protection cases but the first phone call in a branch should have been the last call.
