Never again do I ever want to hear any musician talk about needing to fly halfway around the world to a specific studio for its ambience or about 5 figure condenser microphones or antique valve amps. To sound good you only have to be good and the better you are, the better you'll sound. If I were Angelina's producer, I would seriously consider putting out an album and then revealing at the inevitable Grammy presentation that all the vocals were recorded on a cellphone.
Angelina could sing into a rusty tin can with a long string attached to another tin can on the other end. The sound coming out the tin can on the other end would still be grammy-worthy.

Thank You Way2Deep. It's very true. A great vocalist can make a cell phone microphone sound amazing. I'm an electric guitarist of almost 45 years...and most of my guitars are relatively inexpensive. It's what the guitarist does with his or her fingers (and lotsa practice) that makes basically any guitar sound good...

It's her vibrato, her phrasing, her range, her power, her delicacy, and her ability to convey emotion. Just unmatched by anyone else today.

I see a lot of comments on how great Angelina Jordan is, and she is, but I love it when reactors like yourself are realizing how unique and how special she really is. My man, you can stop and start all want because I was enjoying all the wonderful things you were saying about this Phenomenal young female artist, and laughing and smiling at the same time at your facial expressions of awe and disbelief. Then, she's like only 15 and singing like THAT! Yes, THAT is ridiculous. That first song, Omg! You'd swear she had a black woman for breakfast or something. Being conservative, I would say that Angelina is in the top 5 best female singers in the world of any age in terms of talent, skill, infusing heaping spoonfuls of authentic emotion into every single song, and connecting emotionally with the listener. Personally, I would put her closer to #1 than #5, and she may well be #1 but the world just hasn't realized it yet.
She's not just one of the best singers for her age. She is one of the best singers period. In my opinion, she is the best female vocalist we have today.
Her jazzy sound makes everything sound so damn comforting, especially when she sings a Christmas song. It gives you the warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling. I'd love her to release a Christmas EP or something one day. Her talent is beyond!

Nick I am the one who sent you the email about supporting Angelina along with any other artist you react to. I have no doubt at all that you are a true angel (fan) and you say so often. Consider this. Awhile back, Angelina's team reached out to her fan clubs saying they believed her RUclips analytics are being held down because her fans watch reaction videos and not the original videos. This is what inspired myself along with other angels to suggest to reactors to do whatever they can to encourage their viewers to watch the original videos, give them a like and leave a comment. Also encouraging viewers to subscribe to her two official RUclips channels (Official and Cover Channel) is greatly appreciated. Never assume viewers know these actions are important. These suggestions should be done for all artists but especially for young, aspiring ones. I truly believe verbally encouraging viewers to do these things will also result in more viewers subscribing to your channel.

That's crazy. You're too good and people just want to see what everyone thinks about it because they are pretty sure they just witnessed the greatest singer they've ever seen but don't know how it is possible. Then they can't stop watching these others getting mind blown as well, like yes feel my disbelief and understand my lost mind. And then her channel gets neglected. Probably just a little embarrassed about following a 15 year old girl as well. Fair enough, I'll try to add comments when I rewatch them from time to time. Hey Andy, I always listen to the original 5-10 times before I let anybody try to tell me what they think. I love Dominick and there is no doubt about how he feels about Angelina as a singer. I love his passion for the music and it's contagious.
Although I have not heard it here, don’t wish for Angelina to become a superstar (stardom has consequences), wish for her to become whatever she wants to be. There may come a day when Angelina says personally and directly to her angels exactly what actions she wants them to take to make her whatever she wants to be. Just be prepared to act when asked.

She did took care of her voice... Remember I Put A Spell In You where she was advised not to do that style always because it will eventually damage her vocal... I have to agree that Angelina is currently the best 15-year-old singer there has ever been. And maybe the best at every age up to 15. I say this because she perfected, very early in her life, every vocal technique you can name. This is how she can vary her sound from breathy, raspy, or clean and compressed, to growling, belting, or whatever she wants -- all with incredible vocal control (including, as you observed, the most amazing vibrato). On top of that, she has the musicality, maturity, and innate sense of what she's singing to apply the appropriate technique at the appropriate time. This is why jazz, one of the hardest genres for singers, comes so easily to her -- and has since she was 6 years old (or perhaps even earlier). I can't name another singer who could do what Angelina does, often at any age. Thanks for the great reactions!

@@aaronlangman9209 Little Michael who? Jackson? MJ was a great entertainer (and clearly a better dancer), but not as good a vocalist or musician as AJ. For example, MJ really couldn't sing jazz, and he couldn't read music.

And I've never once heard her off pitch. Considering how many performances she's done live, that's beyond extraordinary.

An old man here who has followed Angelina for close to 5 years. I've loved everything she has done up until her TikTok stuff, most of which has been overly stylized, which obscures the beauty of her actual voice. However, since I actually got to hear her natural voice in the Xmas song, I loved it. TikTok aside, Angelina and Aurora are my favorite singers on the planet.

I'll never tire of listening to Angelina. Seeing her in a concert would be amazing. Sometimes she turns these Tic Tok videos and does a studio version . I don't know if you've heard Angelina sing the Christmas song "Mary's Boy Child" when she was 10 years old. I believe she is singing it on a radio station maybe live I don't know... you only hear her singing. But the emotion that you hear very moving.
She can just mix in that sweet vibrato like it was nothing at anytime, so cool! The level of technique is just impossible!

Like you have said before, Nick, fifteen year old Angelina is already bodying most of the industry. I also adamantly agree that as good as Adele’s vocal ability is, Angelina’s is better. Angelina is, hands down, the current queen and high priestess of the jazz genre. Angelina is single handedly raising the jazz genre from the ash heap back to prominence where it belongs. She is introducing jazz to the younger generation, whom most have never heard jazz music before.
Brah, how she Soul captured the first song was insane, but that last Xmas Rendition was the one for me, and I don’t even like Xmas songs.
That was actually Angelina giving us a upgraded version with her own voice stylistically coming into her own.
She did a live Jazzy rendition/ performance of this song when she was 11 or 12yrs Old, her Rendition was reminiscent of Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra, she even looked like she just stepped out of a Time machine lolol.

For me, she’s the young Musical Gate Keeper.. Through Her Timeless Vocals / Gate way, you get to hear some of the most iconic singers essence from the present and past musical era as if they was still alive and singing today , AJ embodies them all in one voice pending the mood or feeling of each song.

You also have a most excellent singing voice yourself which adds credibility to your assessments. You are not the most academically technical reactor but I consider you an expert nonetheless.
