This is Angelina's original written when she was 14yo. It was dedicated to her late grandfather and to anyone who has lost someone. Might I suggest that you listen to the lyric video for this one for your own pleasure. Angelina's beloved grandmother, Mery, did the artwork and it is simply beautiful. The lyric video was the first release of this song. I listened to it over and over for hours and sobbed nonstop for all my loved ones who have passed. When I got to the point where I no longer cried, I felt lighter and somehow cleansed of a deep sorrow I didn't even realize I was carrying. Angelina has a special talent, an ability to reach deep inside her listeners and touch their hearts. I truly believe she is a gift from God to this world that we so desperately need in these very troubled times.

Great reaction. You’ve just listened to the best version of this song (best audio IMHO), but her music video is just as spectacular. It shows the story behind what the lyrics describe. For serious Angelina fans, the video provides a few “Easter eggs” - her Uncle (and manager) “portrays” her grandfather... her grandfather whom the song is written about, is in one of the pictures she passes in the hallway. Additionally, in the early sequences showing her playing with her Grandpa, Angelina is “portrayed” by her little sister Juliette. The sophistication & maturity of this construct / the composition of this piece is incredible - given her chronological age - but no less amazing than the multilayered complexity of her voice & her performance craft. I think most listeners agree she's channelling more than one old soul! But the most wonderful thing is that whilst we might hear flavours / influences of other artists - other genres - Angelina blends these into something beautiful and unique. This was different because it wasn't a Cover. She wrote this after her beloved Grandpa passed away - so this is totally her voice - her soul - which reaches out and grabs ours as well. The sophistication & maturity of this construct / the composition of this piece is incredible - given her chronological age - but no less amazing than the multilayered complexity of her voice & her performance craft. I think most listeners agree she's channelling more than one old soul! But the most wonderful thing is that whilst we might hear flavours / influences of other artists - other genres - Angelina blends these into something beautiful and unique. Much like Dimash; no-one else sounds like this - nor could.

It is special for a few reasons. 1st off the fact that it is an original and was written about the loss of her grandpa. Which has obviously impacted her very very much. She dedicated this song to anyone who has lost a loved one. 2nd off...this was her 1st release after being signed to republic records. So I'm sure she was nervous and excited and just filled with a ton of emotions. I luvvv this studio version because you truly can see the pain she is feeling over her loss. She is so expressive in all the songs she does but this one is definitely very special to her. I read that she could not stop the tears from falling as she sang this and that is apparent.
This girl gets you deep to your core...right to your heart and soul. And I pretty much know, I'm in for a cry- fest when I hear her sing. Such a gift to share with the world and such a lullaby to our ears She always makes my heart feel happy and at peace when I hear her. I want to close my eyes and let her songs carry me away to this beautiful place. But...at the same time, I have a hard time taking my eyes off of her.. no gimmicks just pure Angelina at her finest every single time...we are truly blessed to have been sent such an angel. When She just start to sing, to me its like she aimed at my heart, and in the first 5 sec u know that she hits u. And the lyrics are sooo deep, they are just trigger the tears. o lord.why the most ( not all ) reactors chop up the songs in 5 or 10 second pieces????Can't you give your opinion at the end of the song? One or two interruptions are okay. Maybe you have to do it because of copyright or something. But you chop up the songs like minced meat. I turned off the video after a few minutes.
