I've realized that in job simulator all the robots are computers, so when they give you a computer to work on they're technically letting you work on a dead body..

The reason everything is changed in position is because job simulator has different appearances for different room sizes. Dollhouse mode automatically bumps it up to the largest size.
I know its kinda late, but the mini job bot is made of two separate objects: the mini job bot itself and the little ring attached to the string attached to the mini job bot. This is done so you can grab mini job bot with one hand, and pull the string with the other. It is also the reason why it floats down. When the object is fotocopied, the mini job bot spawns in, and the game automatically attaches a ring to it. The game doesn't check whether or not the object has gravity, so the ring will have gravity, and will act as a weight that will pull mini job bot down.
The reason there is more stuff is because of the size of your space. There is more room to put stuff that you can get to in dollhouse mode, if you expanded your VR set up to a bigger room, that stuff would be available in normal mode.
I bought this for psvr a while ago, and I really recommend it. Just keep in mind that the only game mods are bouncy mode and low gravity. But anyway, it is definitely worth the money
The reason it's using a bigger office for dollhouse mode is because there seems to be two scales of job: desk scale and room scale. So I think if you use a room scale setup and configure the game, you'll get bigger job spaces.
