Mines 2001.420 000 km. No breakdowns. Haven't crashed it yet. Airbags mightnt work now

i feel much better we went with an almera after watching that crash test. both cars started life around the same era yet the tino looks like it takes the test much better
the 2003 scenic flipped this around
it was very safe
The Scenic I is safer than Almera. Almera did not get 4 stars because it got cracks in the floorpan and bulckhead. So you didn't choose better in hindsight.

According to real world crashes the car seems very safe.
I think about the time this car was made, with air bags all around the car and abs, it was a decent car. Here in Brasil this car was produced until 2011, and only came with 2 front airbags.

So basically a death trap. One can only hope to never have a crash in one of these.

@@pikende I'd rather pick a car that has proven its strength in such test than rely on luck to not get in an accident like that.
As I mentioned it proved to be safe in accidents. Actually I never saw any accident where anyone would die in a scenic. But it is an old car. Later renaults should be better. Anyway even the old renault clio looks safe. Just look at this accident Ford mondeo and Renault clio head-on collision. It is inexplicable. ruclips.net/video/9gLkkJ4HWDk/видео.html. So the clio is stronger than the mondeo? I am interested in your opinion.
