Interesting analysis. I wouldn't have thought of George's dad as a socialist. I would call him a philanthropist. He and his wife probably didn't charge their boarders much, but he used capital to invest in lives.
@@shermandye8125 Yours is an acceptable pushback. Technically, it isn’t socialism because he planned to pay it back and he was only borrowing it and not taxing or borrowing without any realistic way to pay it back like politicians do.
