The sea foam one is awesome. I've been wearing it everyday with a variety of straps. Currently my favorite is a khaki canvas style strap which gives a "sea foam hitting the beach sand" appearance. This is my 3rd Islander and the best one yet.

I rarely comment here, but I loved this video. Letting us in behind the scenes to meet some of the people like Ryan that help to make LIW "tick", really adds a new dimension to the store, the channel and the brand. In a weird way it makes me want to support the store more and maybe even plunk down some extra coin for a Northport. Shows the company in a different light. You guys look like you make a great team. Just purchased the Seiko GMT and as usual was very pleased the service and speed in the delivery. Continued success!

I love my purple to black Northport isl-157. The way that the light plays with the dial is amazing plus I love the hue of purple. The watch sits so wonderfully on the wrist and is very comfortable. It may be my favorite diver you guys have made, and I didn't think you could top the Isl-44.

The Northport is my daily wear. The Miyota movement is crazy accurate, the blue ripple dial is mesmerizing, and the lume is amazing. I did find the bezel to be a bit hard to turn, but some WD40 made it work just fine. It’s an amazing watch.

Just got mine yesterday and am thrilled by the quality, look, and feel of the watch. I really wanted the PVD version of the Tissot Seastar 2000 because of that beautiful ceramic bezel and deep blue/black look. But I'm so glad I heard you talk about this watch first. It's just as gorgeous AND it actually fits my smaller wrist. As well as being about 1/3 the price. :)

Ryan, you were natural on camera and gave some cool insight into what goes on at Islander. My last design competition suggestion was different materials and case finishing so I was especially excited when you hinted that may be in the pipeline at some point.
I got the blue dial (non gradient), and man is it beautiful. Definitely an homage to Seiko’s current 62mas range, which happens to be my favorite Seiko case shape, perfect size at 40.5 millimeter.

Bought the purple and love it. The bracelet is so comfortable. Case back is cool. Endlink design is unique. I’d love to have a black stealth version with red or orange lume on the minute hand and bezel.

I just received my first Islander watch today (Pogue ISL-149) and the quality has left me speechless. I was not expecting such a solid, well-engineered time piece for a budget price. The bracelet alone is arguably the best I have on any of my watches (some 10 times the price of the Islander). The all-round finish is pristine (eat your heart out, Seiko!) The only addition to an already-spectacular watch was the ratcheting clasp, which takes it to a whole new level … all for less than $400. I am now seriously questioning why I need anything else. Very well done, Team LIW!

Ryan was VERY helpful when I was readying to purchase the ISL-84. Thanks, Ryan! Also, the Northport is an absolute stunner, and IF I was in the market for a diver the black dial would be my first choice. Reminds me of the dark waters of the Great Lakes.

Ryan was answering questions via e-mail on a recent order at close to 11 pm the other night. I've never had such good customer service, with ANY product. I'd love to buy this guy a beer. Knowing now he designed the Northport I feel obligated to get one.
Just ordered the black one, I've got a cruise comming up and I think it will be a nice one for that. Got a Tropic strap to go with it too, really feeling the skindiver vibe right now.
Don't own an islander yet, but the Northport could well be my first. Nice work gents.

Ryan, my wife says you need to add an orange dialed gradient Northport, to remind one of sunset on the beach. I say you must do it because orange dials are teh awesome!

Bought my brother one for his birthday. His first nice watch… he loves it!
After the spring disappointment that was the Moonswatch, these watches were released at the perfect time for this summer. The color choices are wonderful, the dials are dynamic with the wave texture, and the case, bracelet, clasp, and movement are spectacular for the price. The only point of criticism I have is that the bezel is somewhat stiff to turn, but the fact that it is a coin-edge bezel somewhat helps to offset this negative. A true winner of a watch!
I am one of the lucky guys who got the sea-foam green one. Love it. For some reason, the website doesn't show that I purchased it.

It would be really cool in the future if you did other names outside of Long Island like the Islander San Juan or after beaches like Playa Flamenco. But, I’m bias. I absolutely love my purple Northport. The only thing to be desired is the end link, I wish you could make it more blended into the case

Damn, that Purple Gradient is so good looking. I'd prefer crown guards as well. But I don't like that 5 link bracelet. Put it on a black rubber strap and I'm there.

Really like my new Northport. The way the hands either touch the inside or outside of the index is a nice detail. The endlinks look like they belong to another watch though...and the bezel has too much resistance for my taste. Still a great watch.

I can see why the sea foam green sold out first. Very upbeat and beachy !
One challenge for me and all my buddies is that the eyesight has gotten worse as we get older. Even with glasses, it is just about impossible to read the date on most divers. Therefore , all my watch purchases need to have the cyclops so that I can see the date accurately . Since we are getting old, and most of us are retired, every day is like the next, so I constantly refer to my watch to verify the date ! So this is a critical feature for me.
I wouldn't even have a problem with paying extra to add a cyclops; I did this on a Citizens Ecodrive diver, and it came out great, even though the watch was not designed to have one. For me, the function is as important as the design.
Maybe Ryan can figure out a way to incorporate a large date into a new design. I've seen a few swiss watches that include a big date complication, but they are few and far between.
I second the request for either a cyclops on a watch, or perhaps a replacement crystal from Islanders moding section that has a cyclops.
Interesting; we do not have a cyclops date yet. Maybe we should.

I always enjoy little peeks behind the curtain like this. Hopefully we'll see more of Ryan in the future, his designs are real winners. Will you be getting more of the seafoam Northport back in stock soon? And will you ever do an Islander chronograph?
