I can see a clear pattern here, with popular levels getting a lot more votes than unknown bangers - which of course, you can't blame anyone for not knowing unknown levels. However, personally I would have hoped to see more levels that aren't already super popular in the first place.

Seeing verity and B get into the best medium demons warmed my heart after the last video Edit: ultrachromatic and acropolis not making it into the insane demons did make me a little sad tho
i feel like most of these levels are based off of popularity, and i think a very underrated insane demon with really good gameplay, deco, and the song is multichromatic.
Astralith 100% deserves its placement. A mythic regular level with amazing gameplay, great music, and of course insane decoration. It was my first easy demon, so happy to see it here.

As a person playing Artificial Ascent, I can confirm that the gameplay is amazing and satisfying and the people making it outdid themselves with the decoration since this is a 2.0 level
Cyber Infinity is my all time favorite easy demon, the visuals, the gameplay and the music make it just amazing. Medium demon wise my favorite has to be Trek, which has that Celtic esque music and pretty hard and fun transitions and sections, especially the last part with the rock sliding that was so fun. I've never beat a hard demon or higher so I cant say which one is my favorite. Fun video to watch to see what levels I might potentially try.
Bloodbath, NC and B are extremely influential yet good, so its no surprise theyre at the top. Astralith has to be my personal favourite from the art style to difficukty to atmosphere its perfect. I also love MAGISTRO too
While the results were somewhat predictable it's nice to see some classics still getting some much deserved love. It's also pretty funny to see some levels appear in both this video and your "Worst demon levels" video. A potential idea I had was a "What are the most underrated demons of each difficulty" video. That way we can potentially shine a light on the many cool levels which have somehow flown under the radar throughout the years and to encourage more people to give them a try. Not to mention it removes that element of predictability. I don't know how "underrated" would be defined, but I think it would be best to leave it up to the community and Eric to decide what they think is underrated and remove the obviously popular levels like Fairydust, GLORIOUS FORTRESS and Nhelv.
Imma just put my own favourites because yeah Easy Demon - Next Cab Soon or White Space. Can't decide. Medium Demon - B Hard Demon - NeoN 18 (my favourite level of all time :D) Insane Demon - I've only ever played Windy Landscape so- Extreme Demon - Menace OR Aether by ZeroSR. I wanna see how many people would agree with anything apart from B and Windy lol. Now i know there's the iconic levels, like NC or BB, but it's my opinion. They're not my most favourite levels, despite being iconic.

Kinda sad to not see HeLL here, but i can see why, it was my first medium demon and i get plenty of nostalgia looking at it, but either way it was tough since Serponge makes some amazing levels. Edited to talk about future funk! Future funk was my 4th hard demon and my personal favourite of the difficulty, also made by one of my favourite creators, the gameplay is just gold.

so sad lonely travel didn’t make it, personally it’s my favourite level of all time. death moon at 2 for easy demons was a pleasant surprise though, it’s crazy just how impactful it was to the decoration we see today
i feel like while kyouki is really good, there are some extremes that are way better. i think it really stands out as being the best top 10 right now (#8 btw wtf happened) i could see it on the top 5 and im suprised its not even in the runnerups however i think bloodbath is just a more iconicand deserved level. @Selicular Creators often only focus on making feature worthy or epic deco. That makes their level very forgettable and often not fun to play. Nowadays the main problem is we judge a level by how hard it is to create, not how fun it is to play. If you put too much effort into creating certain effects, it doesnt make the level good.
My honest favourite demon is Mystic Bounds by Gmdmann. Everything about this level is amazing, the deco, the music, the sync, gameplay, it's long but fast and colorful. I just love it
Some of my favorites that didn’t get mentioned in vid or for runner ups for each category: Four Wheel Drive (easy demon) by Split72, one of the only levels I’ve beaten multiple times for fun, very fast satisfying gameplay and a fun song Well Rested (medium demon) by Cometface, my favorite level in the game :) extremely good atmosphere and the drop is just 😌👌 NongPholic (hard demon) by Unne & more, very silly hard demon megacollab, has some rough patches gameplay-wise but the decoration is so fun to look at and it uses “Get Smooshed!” as the song which is automatic points from me Colorful OverNight (insane demon) by Woogi1411, not my absolute favorite but gets super overshadowed by the creator’s most known level Windy Landscape despite having similar difficulty and gameplay (might be because the song is a NONG now), also has some of if not THE BEST decoration of any 1.9 level Cicada3302 (extreme demon) by Darwin, 7 minutes of amazing gameplay and decoration, song is a banger, admittedly I’m not good enough to beat extremes yet so I’ve only done runs on this level but they’ve all been so much fun

By the time you've got to the drop you've already seen everything the level has to offer, but it just keeps repeating the same deco and gameplay style over and over for another three minutes. The design is good but nothing amazing, and the main good thing about the level is the song, which is more on kero kero bonito than the level

yt shorts mass produced ispy content which caused it to become so popular. i think change of scene is a tiny bit overated and when presented with a "best easy demon" or "best level" kids will just automatically pick it. i think its kinda deserved i just dont like how little consideration people put into other levels and instead go off of how many view it has on nexus' channel or smth lol
I was happy to see that dance massacre got a runner up, but I was surprised that Eternelle Vehemence didn't! I'm also not surprised that Crossroads didn't make it in but I still love it 😔
From the start of the video, I was literally begging windy landscape to be in this list, so glad it was chosen to be the best insane demon by all of you, it's my favourite level in the whole game
I kind of get it, when the level first came out I was like eleven and I thought it was the coolest thing ever just because it included references to my favourite games
This list is just straight up NPC level selection, i mean COS and LIMBO deserve to be the best extremes but levels like Tidal Wave or any classic demons shouldn't be considered "the best" just either "ahead of their time" or "iconic"

I do wanna point out, i think its incredibly sad bloodbath takes away a lot of the reputation of cataclysm when in reality the level only exists BECAUSE OF cataclysm, cataclysm is the level that pushed gd forward in terms of decoration and difficulty; what about bloodbath? Not really, the decoration is definitely worse and while the level is way harder it didn’t influence hard levels by itself.

I saw Change of scene from a mile away cause its well optimised and has one of the best deco and fun gameplay and one of the best songs i've ever heard
tbh one thing that kinda seems meh is the fact that it's not even a quality contest, but rather a popularity contest for example verity is fun but has questionable balancing when looking at the last part, or i've played more interesting XL levels than future funk that also hit harder stress-wise, tidal wave also despite being an okay level, doesnt' feel like something that could be called the peak of this game

I’m not and I’m surprised to see GD creators are so bad they didn’t make 5 levels better than Death Moon in almost 10 years
@Selicular Creators often only focus on making feature worthy or epic deco. That makes their level very forgettable and often not fun to play.
Nowadays the main problem is we judge a level by how hard it is to create, not how fun it is to play.
If you put too much effort into creating certain effects, it doesnt make the level good.
My honest favourite demon is Mystic Bounds by Gmdmann. Everything about this level is amazing, the deco, the music, the sync, gameplay, it's long but fast and colorful. I just love it

Some of my favorites that didn’t get mentioned in vid or for runner ups for each category:
Four Wheel Drive (easy demon) by Split72, one of the only levels I’ve beaten multiple times for fun, very fast satisfying gameplay and a fun song
Well Rested (medium demon) by Cometface, my favorite level in the game :) extremely good atmosphere and the drop is just 😌👌
NongPholic (hard demon) by Unne & more, very silly hard demon megacollab, has some rough patches gameplay-wise but the decoration is so fun to look at and it uses “Get Smooshed!” as the song which is automatic points from me
Colorful OverNight (insane demon) by Woogi1411, not my absolute favorite but gets super overshadowed by the creator’s most known level Windy Landscape despite having similar difficulty and gameplay (might be because the song is a NONG now), also has some of if not THE BEST decoration of any 1.9 level
Cicada3302 (extreme demon) by Darwin, 7 minutes of amazing gameplay and decoration, song is a banger, admittedly I’m not good enough to beat extremes yet so I’ve only done runs on this level but they’ve all been so much fun

By the time you've got to the drop you've already seen everything the level has to offer, but it just keeps repeating the same deco and gameplay style over and over for another three minutes. The design is good but nothing amazing, and the main good thing about the level is the song, which is more on kero kero bonito than the level

You may not personnally enjoy it and that's fine, but I think it's the best music representation any level has ever seen, and is an unforgettable experience. But like, it's my favorite level in the game, I'm 1000% biased

This might be a hot take but imo Change of Scene and ispywithmylittleeye (especially the latter) are some of the most overrated levels in the game
yt shorts mass produced ispy content which caused it to become so popular. i think change of scene is a tiny bit overated and when presented with a "best easy demon" or "best level" kids will just automatically pick it. i think its kinda deserved i just dont like how little consideration people put into other levels and instead go off of how many view it has on nexus' channel or smth lol
I was happy to see that dance massacre got a runner up, but I was surprised that Eternelle Vehemence didn't! I'm also not surprised that Crossroads didn't make it in but I still love it 😔

From the start of the video, I was literally begging windy landscape to be in this list, so glad it was chosen to be the best insane demon by all of you, it's my favourite level in the whole game

I kind of get it, when the level first came out I was like eleven and I thought it was the coolest thing ever just because it included references to my favourite games
I really liked to see Acu up there, Even though it’s a modern style level i love the song it uses and it looks like a playhouse to me.
This list is just straight up NPC level selection, i mean COS and LIMBO deserve to be the best extremes but levels like Tidal Wave or any classic demons shouldn't be considered "the best" just either "ahead of their time" or "iconic"

I do wanna point out, i think its incredibly sad bloodbath takes away a lot of the reputation of cataclysm when in reality the level only exists BECAUSE OF cataclysm, cataclysm is the level that pushed gd forward in terms of decoration and difficulty; what about bloodbath? Not really, the decoration is definitely worse and while the level is way harder it didn’t influence hard levels by itself.

I am happy with the placement of Windy Landscape because it was my first insane demon
I saw Change of scene from a mile away cause its well optimised and has one of the best deco and fun gameplay and one of the best songs i've ever heard

tbh one thing that kinda seems meh is the fact that it's not even a quality contest, but rather a popularity contest
for example verity is fun but has questionable balancing when looking at the last part, or i've played more interesting XL levels than future funk that also hit harder stress-wise, tidal wave also despite being an okay level, doesnt' feel like something that could be called the peak of this game
