- Voor het Fonds voor Sociale Instelling (FSI) ontwikkelde muzikant Frank Steijns samen met Henk Hover van L1 het programma Rendez-Vous. Een muzikaal theaterspektakel in twee delen vol contrasten.
In het ene deel ontmoeten we jonge Limburgse musici van meest uiteenlopende aard, terwijl we in het andere deel een rendez-vous beleven met wereldster André Rieu en zijn vermaarde Maastrichts Salon Orkest. Rendez-Vous is een tv-registratie in twee delen van dit FSI-evenement.

I have four beautiful, wonderful and talented granddaughters and love them all to the moon and back, but this little girl has something that anyone, especially the young people her age, should surly wish they had! A gift from Heaven to be sure! Her parents must be so very proud!

@@karstenkoch62 Na, wenn sie ein weiblicher Christus ist, dann wird sie hoffentlich nicht eines Tages an ein Kreuz genagelt, wie das dem Sohn Gottes passiert ist. Außerdem wird in gewissen Kreisen geglaubt, dass auf dem Orion oder unmittelbar daneben, Reptiloide leben. So sieht Emma Kok aber irgendwie gar nicht aus. Zum Glück.

Lovely performance by Emma and by Frank Steijns moonlighting on piano. The little interaction between the two at the end put the cherry on top. My compliments to the camera crew who caught the moment from so many angles and to whoever did the editing. I really liked this video. Flowers to everyone who worked on it.

This song, recorded when it was, and with Frank Steijns on the piano makes me wonder how much Andre Rieu knew about Emma before she won Ministars singing the original version of Voila, I am thinking that Andre was effectively waiting for the right time to meet Emma, and take her under his wings, with the way she was becoming better known, it was only a matter of time and the right moment for him to meet Emma, and Voila just made the decision easier.
Having said that, it's very clear that Emma being with Andre is proving to be good for both of them, Emma is blossoming into an even more polished all round performer, and Andre is benefitting from a young vibrant and incredible singer who is rising to every challenge he thows at her, and having watched Andre for close on 15 years I can't remember him giving such a new young performer so many new challenges in the way that he is encouraging Emma to do new or different things, she's clearly completely comfortable singing a capella, and also very capable doing strong counter harmony, as well as strong songs from well known names, I'm really looking forward to seeing and hearing what surprises he has in store for Dublin in May.

Doesn't matter if she speaks a different lingo, she is bloody brilliant.
Her mother tongue is Dutch but she also speaks English and German. She does NOT speak french but learnt Voila phonetically and also the meaning of the words so she could do the right expressions etc.

Iedereen die nog beweerd dat dromen bedrog zijn of dat wonderen niet bestaan? Verwijs hen naar de video's van deze jongedame..... In haar zien we het tegendeel: Emma leeft nu haar droom en dat is voorwaar geen vanzelfsprekendheid. O ja, er komt zonder twijfel heel secuur plannen, hard werken en studeren bij kijken, maar dat maakt ook voor Emma vermoedelijk de voldoening nóg groter als ze een lied kan zingen zoals zij dat voor ogen heeft. En ze maakt er zelf geen geheim van: op het podium voelt zij zich als een vis in het water. Eigenlijk hoeft ze dat ook helemaal niet te zeggen: je kan het zien en bijna door het scherm heen voelen dat ze dan blij is.
