I used to hate this zone NOT because of the ghost but because of the jump you're supposed to make in the middle between the two slides. I had no idea that you were supposed to hop onto the next sand slide to continue or else be trapped in an endless loop throughout the zone. To me, that's worse than the Carnival Night barrel because after a while, it because after you pass it the first time you remember. With the slide, there are so many of them in the second level you forget WHICH ONE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO JUMP to continue.

Nah that barrel was bs I was not able to pass that as a child LMAO, I could only advance in sonic three bc if level select (or playing as knuckles)
