- Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter has died at the age of 96 at her home in Plains, Georgia, the Carter Center said Sunday.
Rosalynn was surrounded by family, the center added.
Her husband Jimmy Carter, the former president of the U.S. has been in home hospice since February.
