If you decide to delete your Facebook account, Facebook gives you 30 days to cancel the deletion. Within this time, everything can still be returned and you can recover your account, but after 30 days, everything is gone for good. This is what facebook tells you when you are choosing deleting the account. If I remember right, after you choose deleting your account facebook also offers you a way to download your pictures, videos, history, data etc. Uninstalling FB from all devices might be tricky if the FB app is a pre-installed bloatware in your mobile device.
Thank you!!! I'm embarrassed to say I could not find the delete button on my own and I was starting to feel trapped. They sure did make it hard to find that delete button, I guess they don't want people to delete their accounts.
It doesn't matter really if you delete or try to erase your fb account. I deleted mine like 10 yrs ago (actually tried to delete it) and I've been able to access it like 3 times, last time was like 2 yrs ago. It can't be erased. Your data is theirs... forevah....
i don't have 'account ownership and control' when i follow your instructions. when i click on 'personal details' it takes me to a page which says 'profiles'. how is this possible?
I have managed to close my old FB account, which my son had setup for me and as I had not been on it for years and neither of could remember the eamil, he'd made up for me, I setup another account; using a new email.
This guy actually believes what he's saying. I've done all of this over and over and over and years later when I accidentally click on a link that has anything to do with Facebook.... it opens MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. All this he's saying is BS. He's been tricked into believing you can actually delete a facebook account.
I response from him might be useful. Make me think creating a facebook account to learn how to remove the facebook account might be useful or interesting.

Thank you! Finally someone who can give clear and precise instructions that actually work
If you can't delete a social media account without it having a major impact on your life, then you are probably relying too much on it...
I honestly don't know why anyone would want a Facebook account, or any other socialist media site. They're a total waste of time.
I agree
I got locked out years ago and tried to get in back but thinking back it was a blessing

Here is a thought in a completely different direction: What is the justification to create a FaceBook acount?
Can't delete what I don't have. 😁
Great video. Perfect 👌🏽 ✅️ thanks a million

Thanks a lot.
Thank you
Deleting a social media account like Facebook has more ramifications than closing an email account, so think hard about this before you do this
😂
No it doesn't

Delete fakebook
Facebook tends to send too much spam.. I had to actally block it from my email because it won't unsubscibe lol.
Imagine unironically having a Facebook account.
Closing your F***book account is like quitting smoking.
Good for you... but the damage is irreversible.
How much did Facebook pay you for this?
Oh how I wish they'd pay me.
You don't 😂
bs video
But a very useful comment. Thanks!
nope not doing this i will still use it sides i talk to all my friends from my school on there
Why? WHY WHY WHY? What would you've done 30 or 40 years ago when there was no facebook (was it in existence 30 years ago?)?
You mean, "besides"? More time in class!
Less time on Facebook!
(Not being snarky, just a mom.😢)
@@carolf8749 im 52 years old what i mean is i use facebook to talk to my friends i went to school with and family members and friends hope that helps
@@carolf8749 Yes. That goes along with my thought.
