This is great. There is so much commentary on the negative aspects of AI. It is great to see this tool being used creatively. These are really useful and usable ideas.
Thank you, Charlie, for these useful videos on RUclips! I've started my career as an English teacher since 2016 but it's been 2 years, I've been teaching online. I've learned lots of things in here. I'm very happy that we can share ideas in such a platform. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thank you, Charlie! Having materials tailored to our students is such a good thing, but very time-consuming. I used the ChatGPT for some business collocations yesterday, but there's a whole range of activities I could have created. And yes, good one for focusing on the tools checking for authenticity as they seem to lag behind the AI language generation tools. Great video, Cheers!
I'm glad you liked it. The AI detection services aren't fool proof though so we're better off trying to help students understand how best to use ChatGPT.
@@CharliesLessons Yes, absolutely! In 1-2-1 or small groups the best thing is indeed to say, how can we use this tool to get better at writing and language in general? In bigger classes though, students are already handing in AI generated texts and ask for evidence when told so.
Does anybody else have this problem of not being able to access the website? I’ve been tying but it keeps telling me it’s currently down 🤷♀️ Anyone has an idea how to fix the problem?

I agree with you, there's 2 ways of looking at it. I prefer to look for the positives.

That’s a lovely lesson Charlie, thanks so much for sharing. I’ll definitely use this in my classroom 😊
Do you have students that love Fortnite too??!!
@@CharliesLessons of course, they’re all over the place 😅
