They are also all made up of his money, transformed by the Black Jewel, so Wario literally has to beat up the manifestations of his own wealth and take each individual transfigured coin back.
Typically, the orange dinosaurs are called Magnons (and the bigger ones are simply known as big Magnons), and this game reskins them for every level and sometimes adds new attacks to them. The other enemies that receive different variants are Ankirons (the walking turtle tanks), Clubosaurs (the big guys walking around with sticks), and Cractyls (flying enemies).

9:24 Super Mario Galaxy 2 to be exact. But yes, Squizzard the boss of Slipsand Galaxy does follow a similar pattern but you use a fire flower to defeat him. For a world 5 boss he was easy to beat, even his daredevil run is easy even for me as a 10 year old.
One big thing I do enjoy about this game is Wario himself. Charles absolutely busted his chops making Wario sound as great as he does here.

Fun fact: this game was made by Treasure! They made games like Gunstar Heroes and Dynamite Heady. So if this game tends to be really bonkers compared to other Nintendo games, that's why. There's a certain brand of weird that Treasure has.

Some tips because I love this game:
-When you do the Spinning move when you're carrying an opponent, once wario is flashing Blue, you can stop spinning the stick as wario will auto-spin. This lets you, instead, move wario in the direction you want to move.
-Wario in Smash is disgustingly modeled after Wario Ware, not his Wario Land or Wario World counterparts, which also impacts 95% of his music and all his stages. Just one of the many sins Smash Brawl infected smash bros with as a whole.

As much as I love WarioWare, the fact that pretty much everything about wario nowadays is based on his portrayal in WarioWare kinda upsets me. Wario Land and Wario World have such weird vibes for both Wario himself and the situations he finds himself in that I would've loved to see in things like Smash
