Mark, You did all this work to get to the show. Rain, snow, or sunshine should not stop you from coming. The truck will dry, be washed, and still maintain its beauty you put into it.
17:50 When I was trucking up the East Coast from Florida up to Massachusetts sometime, rumor was Kenworth of Atlanta had the Band to snowman whole rig. I never got to do I passed through to see if this was real But it would be worth checking up on. It'd be worth doing a pilgrimage To Atlanta just to see it and gaze and marvel over a truck I loved a lot more than all the other five year old kids staring at that Trans Am, but I'm a trucker son and loved dad's career enough I did it myself and even drove his trucks. You have an incredible collection of trucks, but I always had a very soft spot in my heart for Bandit 2, Dad drove sometimes this conventional Kenworth For a company in the late 70s same time When Smokey and convoy came out I remember it having a window you could crank to separate the noise from the sleeper in the cab technically closing you off in the sleeper. Kind of a cruel game when you're a kid for a couple seconds when that things cranked up and closed LOL! I remember he would go on these runs and pick up straw For the mushroom company he drove for with beautiful mostly cab over late model Kenworth and Freightliners in the 70s, Always remembering that diamond interior in the one Freightliner And a blue and white and a red and white cab over KW Kinda like the Iron Duke both late 70s brand new beautiful trucks I would go out along with Dad's on his intrastate Florida runs. Keep up the great building Mark, it's awesome to watch you build all these mostly alone, dad would love this channel!
Ohh and also Mark, You have the most awesome music In your videos! From the legend Waylon, to my hometown of Apopka Florida's FAVORITE native son John Anderson!
"Well the more wheels ya got the better I like it, i'm the brother of a truck driving mother" Great to see Snowman on the highways Mark. Been a pleasure watching you put this together over the last few years.
Mark.... thanks for real from an old wore out retired concrete cowboy... 40+ years and 4.5 million miles.... Brings a smile to my mug seeing and remembering ole snowman and fred!! Burt n Sally in that black Trans Am... Jackie n that big ole caddy!! lord almighty.... Getcha trans am next and then work on Cristophersons convoy 359.... needle nose.. Priceless memories
Hello Twin Sticks, my name is Daniel from NC, I grew up in a truck and my Pappy will be 78 next month and still out there getting it done! He's been behind the wheel since he was 14yo, and says your tach's "bounce" is because of a burr inside the cable, that's doing some fishing, a little catch and release, making it bounce.
If Jerry Reed was alive today he'd be very proud of that truck that is one of Best tribute truck I've ever seen keep up the good work point sticks and by the way can't wait to see LBL on the road again And you got it right when you say if you got it a trucker brought it
I’ve been here watching this build ever since you found it covered in snow. It’s amazing to see how far you’ve come with it, and a well deserved congratulations for getting it done. Such an accomplishment may just call for a Coors.
I'm in tears 😢 on how freaking awesome how you're rig looks, you did an amazing job on the truck and the trailer just beautiful, I have watch you video 📹all the way through, god bless 🙌🙏😊 on this project 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊.
Now you need to add a garage long enough to accommodate your beautiful truck and trailer. All that work to leave it in the elements would be terrible. Great accomplishment getting this done, outstanding!
Snowman didn't have no Garman GPS Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣 Wanna beer? Honey hush!! To bad a motorcycle cop doesn't pull you over And u tell him I didn't know this truck do 97 mph Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That be a great stage scene Lol 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great job on the snowman truck Love it dude
Instant detailer and waterless wash helps alot, pain in the ass to drag all of the power washing stuff out just for a quick touch up shine. Keeps the water spots off of that black paint. Truck really is beautiful, great job man!
Mark great job I'm a big Smokey n the bandit fan n I'm only 34 years old seen all 3 movies many times I know many of the lines by heart my Smokey n the bandit DVD pack has been used alot
I believe a company called cactus korral owned one or a replica out of Texas back in the 90s. My dad had seen it when he was offered a job there. Company has gone under as far as I know
Hi Mark, the rev counter drive gear in the fiel pump is stripped, which is why it's is jumping The truck is amazing. Well done man. The Jakes is an absolute pure joy to hear
So awesome, that’s one of me and my dads favourite movies. Would have been his birthday today. Unfortunately, we lost him nine years ago to cancer! One of the all-time favourite films was convoy! Would love to see you do a Mack as tribute track to the film. Keep up the good work up mate!
Mark, I absolutely love to hear you laugh with pleasure as you walk around your truck and especially as you drive it down the road. (So we’ll deserved) I’m a retired Deputy Sheriff from FL, I have been watching your videos for a long time, you have encouraged me to purchase an old day cab to refurbish.. I have always appreciated the trucking industry. I love big trucks, I used to drive in the 70s before going the LEO route. I’m looking now for a single axle day cab work on.. thanks for taking us along on your adventure, I look forward to seeing your other two projects become as successful as the Smokey and the Bandit truck and trailer. Thanks again.. enjoy!!!!
On your rpm gage put some blue rtv on the tips of cable it will help to keep it from jumping and great job with the truck and video God bless from GA stay safe
I have so thoroughly enjoyed watching your channel. I have been with you since Little by Little started coming together. Your love and hard work are paying off for you. Can’t wait to Iron Duke when he is done. Keep on keeping on. She is beautiful.
Run the impact slower and the bit will skip less. Screw grab is the secret weapon for removing screws, nuts and bolts. Screw grab is a diamond grit paste and you will shatter bits before it slips in the head of the screw. On the left hand side of the trailer bumper the flange on the vertical bar is bent. Take a crescent wrench and straighten it out. It drives me nuts to see it in every video.
My good sir, you've got a lot of reason to be proud. That right there is a thing of beauty and I'm sure it will turn many heads at the truck show! Your work on the Snowman rig shows what a true devoted fan is all about!
Awesome 👌 I wasn't going to do the bodywork and paint on mine, and if I saved up for a couple more years, I could afford to have it done. Well, watching you do yours, I bought the tools and started on mine. I did buy an electric orbital sander because my compressor looks a lot like yours. Anyway, I am happy for you, and you should be proud of this milestone. Thank You for making these videos.🎉
I can't imagine that your smile was any bigger than mine while I listened to you go through the gears and work the Jake brake. You should be extremely proud of what you have accomplished.
Congratulations Mark she's beautiful all your hard work and long hours on this project is finally paid off I love your channel I've been watching from when you first drug the ole Pete out of the field
Your enthusiasm is like a little kid in a candy store, love it. Grown men are like little kids playing with cars and trucks, only the toys have gotten bigger 👍
I haven't followed this whole project as I missed a bit when you first got the truck, but since I started watching this truck turn into an awesome replica of the Snowman Truck is has inspired me to reach out and start working on a replica vehicle myself, no where as big as this though. The truck is looking amazing and I can't wait to see it reach it's worthy of "Movie Correct" car show status, as projects like these are never complete and we always find a hidden thing we missed!
Mornin Mark, It has to be just an awesome feeling when you see a project like snowman come to a conclusion, when you take an old truck and trailer from where you started to where you have them now, That feeling has got to be just amazing. Great video my friend as usual I am really looking forward to the next one. Say hello to Mrs. Twin stix for us.
“Any guy that paints his truck like this would go to a minister’s funeral dressed in feathers!” It’s not really about the destination, the journey is it’s own adventure. Don’t forget to fix that tach.

I dont advocate for adopting pets as a novelty but a beagle would make for a great driving partner
