7th grade! I remember when she was a 3rd grader! Time goes fast. I like to see the curriculum because it isn’t the same old same old with you.
We are doing IEW, Fix-It Grammar, Saxon math, scholastics workbook and a Spanish workbook for ours. I like your cool notebooks with the place for a picture.
Love those Kumon books! I will definitely be buying them again in a few years for my baby. I actually just did a flip-through video for level 1 of Spelling Connections. We just finished Unit 3 today and it's been great for us! I think it's a good idea to go ahead and just start with a simpler spelling workbook curriculum, because if she ends up needing more in order to progress in spelling, you can always add more later, but I feel like it's nice to just start simple.

I got that Spelling Connections for my rising first grader as well, but then decided on All About Spelling.
I'm thinking maybe I'll have him do the work book after we finish the AAS, since it shouldn't take the full year. 🤞

Can you share a link for the composition notebooks? My 2nd grader loves drawing a picture with her journal and that layout would be so much better!
I love the choices. I see Rod & Staff on the shelf. Will you discontinue those? 1 of my 4 kiddos use Rod&Staff for Math and English.

Did you get the teacher guide for spelling connection?
For Spelling Connections, how necessary is the teacher book? I was just looking at it on Rainbow Resources and the workbook is decent affordable but the bundle was over $100. I've never even heard of that curriculum.
The Spelling Connections Teachers Manual has all of the answers and also helpful links in it for additional teaching. Depending on the grade level you are using you probably would be ok without it. I did not order it for first grade but in the future if I find it a need I will grab it.
