just an fyi, the difference between the fefe and bmw in the wet isn't really 1,5 seconds as mentioned at the start of the video. The fefe is defo better in the rain because of it's 4 wheel drive but more like 5 tenths max, 1 second if the bimmer has a bad lap. Lulham also said it was more like 3, 4, or 5 tenths max. :)
I was so upset when he wrecked it in the horseshoe. Prob shoulda known the GTDs were running a tighter line after the same thing almost happened like 3 laps earlier! Musta been 2AM here. Same time zone as Daytona
Who would have thought max would be the guy to ruin his team's race,says allot for the level of Tallent at the top. Chris lulham ate away the 40 seconds max costed the team on his first stint before he crashed in his second to ruin it all again
You are right, but it’s not the case in iRacing, the Ferrari had 4WD before 190 km/h which gave it a huge advantage in the wet, iRacing is fixing it so it’s no longer the case

But in a 24h race, if you are in the 8th hour and someone behind you is more than 1 second faster than you, is not necessary to fight tooth and nail at every turn, jeopardizing you and other racers. But we all know how Max is, specially in iRacing, he is the best racer of all of them, but sometimes he looses the big picture to be the champion of every curve.

They are probably fixing it for S3, they said it was quite complex, the crazy grip should be gone by the end of the season

4WD in LMH cars works only at high speed (I don’t remember certainly but it smth around 180 kph) and it doesn’t bring advantage for corner exits
unfortunately the hybrid model is extremely in accurate in iracing so it definitely provides an advantage
