This will sound weird but i find your losses so interesting and so instructive. This one felt reminiscent to many of my own when I cant get a bonus early on.
27:17 I think the only thing to do differently was the cap choice. I would have tried to split the board more and take that position in italy to block spain. After you capped inside a lot of bot material you played the best game you could.
It was a tough spot for sure. I think the only shot was waiting a while before going for the kills. Pete traded in for 12 troops and went all in with his 30 stack to try to kill Magenta which would have only set him for 15 and pushed his opponents into bigger trades as well. I think if he waits another round of trades he has the chance to kill them when trades are in the 30-40 range and he can leverage them into a position. Granted you could say his opponents could beat him to those kills, but firstly it didn't seem they were all that strong in skill, and secondly I only said it was the best shot (not a guarantee) and just better than blasting off so soon. I don't think green was trying to give you third as a jerk, it just seemed like he wanted the world dom because he was a board hungry noob that was excited to be taking territories. Good for him. ;)
Yesterday I had the longest game in my life and probably in all history of risk , it went like more than 12 hours cyz the settings , I usually don't play caps unless fog is enabled especially in small map like classic world and ofcourse I didn't enough attention and I joined a 4 players lobby : classic world caps , prog , blizzards , stable portals and no fog . One player already didn't ready up and the second went bot in the third turn , both of them was novice , the remaining players was me and blue was both GM where I immediately started to target him and letting the bot grow bigger cuz I thought he is a novice , I mean he willingly skipped more than 20 cards and he also was focusing on bonuses so he always granting me caps card but after two hours I realized the bots has grow significantly to the point where killing them is super negative and I was trying to guide the bot to fight each other and also trying minimize their troops and this blue player really wanted a long time game so I knew he was gm therefore I made a decision to give him third and give black second , the player who botted in the third turn , I had to pee thrice 😂 but I managed to do just that , killed purple then blue then after 3 turns of killing the human I did a cap run , I am never doing those settings ever again.
We need an option for players to be completely removed from a game rather than becoming a bot if they don’t ready up. A 5 player game is much closer to a six player game than a 5 player game with 1 bot
It would be nice if on the ready screen there was a way to say "Ready, but only if everyone readies up is too". Like, I'd rather not join the game at all than join where one or more opponents become bots.
Why didn't you take the bonus your capital was in? Do you think that would have changed things for you in the game? If I was in that situation I would have gone for it.
@@FreePete Yeah, i wrote this comment at the start of the video before even first player picked their cap. Still would be funny to box in green player tho
yea ive played some solos and clasic unranked and bots are retarded, you need to get rid of them quick, and being a newbie is horrible, ive been suicided 4/4 games for no reason at all, no matter where i base camp :( and im not even the leading player. TY for the reply, i wonder why u do all the things you do or dont do.
Blocker of SPOILS.
I’m fairly certain there was cap inside of Spain as well, thats why Green lost so many troops, guess we’ll never know
100%. And it had zero troops on it second turn.

The losses are a better learning experience for sure.
you did see one pink territory initially, and you saw that no one went for skandi... I you wanted to check Sevastopol, has to be on way up
Kind of a dick move by Green tbh

@@medoanwar9854 lol yeah i meant green
Either it was personal or he's just not very good.
Green went for the World Dom. I see no issue here. Seen that on Kylted, Speedster, even JJ when he wins a game and Pete risk videos.
@@SebastianUlrich85 They're talking about him giving me third under the botted player not the WD
You never got going Pete!
We love when Pete admits his mistakes

I pick that cap Green eats me
Yeah. I liked that Italy cap until green capped the GAS

With prog the way five player affects the trading sequence I wouldn't say it's all that much like six player

green capped in france it wouldve been a really rough early game
