Would love to see your day to day army musician life. Especially if you could get a singer on with you as well! 🥰😘 you’re amazing. 🦖🦖🦖 thanks for being you; sending lots of love!!! 👑
My brother-in-law is also a 42R at Ft. Bliss! Not that you had the chance to meet him yet due to COVID though lmao. Loving your military vlogs and can't wait to find out how AIT went for you. Currently practicing to audition in the future.
Would you be able to make videos on each stage, red white and blue? I’m trying to get more information about all the branches and am deciding between airforce and army!
Good stuff! I like vlogs! There’s no Cheetah emoji lol but there is a 🍓 one. I always appreciate when folks write in the description box. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Taylor Gardner yes same here a friend said focus on weights and lifting with squats and etc. but then work the cardio/endurance stuff once I get more weight off....
Do a MacBook unboxing video. Those always seem to go over really well. Also, yes, I would appreciate once things get back to normal seeing what daily life is like for an Active Component musician. 🐈
How does practicing work when you’re an Army musician? Do you practice in the barracks, or are there designated places on base that you’re able to practice in? I’m also a tuba player, and I’m hoping to go into the military as a musician after I graduate from college next year. Thanks!
Every band will have a band hall! Ours has about 6 Wenger practice rooms, and a handful of larger rooms you can use after duty hours. From my understanding, most posts won’t like you practicing in the barracks- which works for me because I don’t want to lug my horns back and forth. 😁
@@AbbyWeaver I just finished watching your Army band video but am still a little confused, will you only be allowed to audition if there are opening spots of your instrument?
You can request an audition at any time whether there is an advertised opening for your instrument or not. People are always getting out of the army, so from my understanding- they won’t turn you away from auditioning just because say you’re a trumpet player and there are already an adequate amount of trumpet players in the army. I mentioned the monthly selections, that’s where your score and the need of your instrument come into play. For example, one month there is a need to fill 7 oboe spots. They’re going to look at all of the oboe scores they currently have and accept the top 7 at that time, any remaining will stay on the list for possible selection the next month. You can look up the band liaison for your region and get in touch with them about more specific questions- things change quarterly! 😁
I don’t know if anyone has told you this but you remind me of Jenna Marbles a little bit, and I adore her lol. Thank you for the content! I love it. ❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoy your videos, what I would love to know is your day to day activities and what you do now that your out of basic training. Like do you do push ups for a Sargent everyday etc.. and what it’s like. 😺🥥
I have short hair, a bob and would really appreciate a vid of how I can do my hair for Basic!!! Would really help mee if you made a video like that. There’s not much on here. 🙌🏻 love your vids!
Hi, thanks for watching! Is your hair length within regulations? You can google AR 670-1 to find all appearance regulations. I don't have bob length hair so it would be difficult for me to make an entire video on this. If your hair is in regulation down, then you can wear it down. Otherwise, you'll be using a lottttt of bobby pins.
Abby Weaver okay! I saw your friend on the video had shorter hair, yes my hair is according to regulations just wasn’t sure if I had to have anything additional like Bobby pin the front back. Etc, but thank you for the quick response! Definitely subbed 🤗
@@Ana_dee Oh! Natalie actually has more of a "pixie cut" than a bob. She was finally just able to get a haircut due to covid! I know she really loves her short hair and it was very easy for her in basic. Your bob cannot be falling in your face. In combat uniform it should be okay because you'll have your cap to secure it but I'm not sure about when you'll be doing PT. How long do you have until you ship out?

Awesome! Thank you so much for watching AND commenting! Hopefully we’ll get back to work in some capacity soon.
Did you meet in basic training? I am losing weight so that I can go in the Army. I love watching your videos.
Nope! Natalie shipped about 4 months before me. Thanks for watching!
Taylor - what are you doing to lose weight? I am doing the same. I’d love to chat more if your down and wanna swap info. 😇
@@casslamb3543 I am trying the keto diet. I found all sorts of tasty recipes. I am trying to figure out what kinds of exercises I should do though.

@@casslamb3543 When do you hope to go? I hope I get to go by the end of the year. I have to lose 40 pounds.

Ooo that’d be interesting! Will try to film when our days get semi normal!

What happens if you audition for an Army band but don't get a spot? Could you, if so how soon, reaudition?
I’m not sure how long you have to wait, but I do know that re-auditioning is a possibility.

Do you own your own Tuba?
🦊🍓 say hi to colton for me, we went to AIT together. I'm pretty sure she's still there, she's a vocalist
She is! She actually won a job with the Air Force so she’ll be leaving in the nearish future 😁
