Ehh not really, first tricked he messed up big time. Fumbled leading Heidi to pick numbers and she picked faces and tried to past it off as the opposite and move on but it was pretty obvious. She burned the faces but acted like the numbers got burnt.
You need to rewatch! Simon saved a card that the others put in the fire - thats why it had burnt edges!
LMAO! The slight of hand was SO obvious! and the "deck of cards that were never opened" had the cellophane completely removed already and the seal on the card box was already breached! Bad act!

the last trick has given me an idea for a new effect and I greatly appreciate the inspiration from this performance.
What's incredible to me, is he did a card trick that was executed quite well, and he can raise the bar from there so high. Ingenius.

2. he told Simon "You are going to be a hero and SAVE one of the cards from BURNING".
Simon saves the Queen Of Diamond from the fire, which was why the card he revealed was a little bit burnt

I'm a big fan of magic! It's so mind-blowing and looks so effortless! I'm still trying to figure out how he made a deck of cards appear out of thin air and that one of the cards (chosen by Howie) had the comedian's signature. 🤯
There are “magic” set card props that can expand. His trick wasn’t that great to me. He even messed up because Heidi said burn all the face cards and it would be obvious that Sophia would say burn all the men instead of women.
@@timoshiigarushia the first trick had a card that was half queen of diamonds and half queen of heart, he covered up one corner when revealing, so he increased his odds there. But the second trick with the 10 of clubs was impressive.
@@timoshiigarushia uh huh… well a magic trick performance shouldn’t confuse the audience and if you had to explain all that for a viewer to comprehend the performance, then it’s not a good one.

Most of the time maybe 🙂Cowell definitely has a brilliant talent to find talent. Then again, he totally missed on this year's Britain's Got Talent winner when he buzzed him in the audition.
Every time an act goes "We have never met before, correct?" makes me believe that they met before and are in on the act. lol

Last trick is easy. Howies name is on every card, opens up the deck one of two ways. Up or down. Cards are like sandpaper. They're double stuck together. Go lightly and you get this result. Go hard and they will separate.
Yeah it's a common trick, doesn't really mean much if you point it out though.

I can’t believe everyone is amazed by this. Walk into any magic store and the invisible deck trick is the first thing the guy at the counter will show you. It’s a beginner level trick deck

The second trick involves having seen Howie's signature before and using "rough and smooth" cards.

I can't believe AGT aired one of the most common, basic magic tricks out there. This is like the ABC's of magic...literally every magician knows this trick LOL and he knows it!

The delivery is what sells a magic act and that was First class shipping!
The second part of the trick: It's a special deck where each card has a slightly coarse back. This is done so that when you place two cards with their backs touching it's harder to move or slide (not sure what the deck is called but you can buy it at a magic shop). The deck is then arranged however the magician wants it arranged but with the rule that each card's back needs to be touching another card's back. Once arranged, no matter how you show the deck, every card is face up. Look closely and you'll see how each card is somewhat thicker than a normal deck of cards. That's because they are doubled up. You'll also notice that each card is an odd number. Basically, his card setup was all odd numbers will be paired with even numbers. If Howie pick an odd number he'd open the deck the other way. Also, look how he spreads the cards, he's 'looking' for the corresponding number that backs into the 10 of clubs, then adds a little more force to slide the card over to reveal the card.
No matter what Howie picked, the magician will 'find' the card reversed. As for the signature, you can google Howie's signature and write it on all cards.
Yea, first trick was obvious. He was trying to use suggestion to lead. Hardest is getting Simon to pick diamonds. "Burn all the Men" of course the girl will say men. "Burn the faces" was supposed to illicit heidi to burn the numbers but she surprised him by picking faces and he tried to play it off but it was obvious. He needs to work a bit on the suggestion.
@ falconfamily463 no you didn’t get the trick, Heidi said to burn the faces so in the end Simon has to save one of the faces (not that the faces disappear and we focus on the numbers), this is why the card was burnt. I hope it makes sense=)

@@123hardikshahI thought exactly the same. Then I rewatched it a few times. The burnt cards are the cards that end up in the match box. Sophia was then asked to totally burn either the men or women. She chose the men so they were totally burnt and therefore don't exist any more
One thing I was confused with: Heidi burned the face cards but he kept the face cards. Wouldn’t it leave the number cards? Sofia burned the men, which left the Queens.🤷🏻♂️

As a magician, the 2nd trick is super easy as long as u have a very good memory. But paired with the "invisible deck" gag, it really hits well. What a great way to reinvent an old and common magic trick. the invisible deck part really adds a level of wonder. Bravo. Cant wait to see his twist on other tricks
I feel like he dropped the ball by not asking Howie to turn the card over then put it back in the deck. That's the basic routine for The Invisible Deck.
Why need a good memory? Reverse card number 10 was exactly under number 10 facing up.

The fist part was very easy he was forcing them to pick what ever he wants , she burned the faces but he kept them and no one noticed , but second part was really amazing .
2nd part is done with a svengali deck, all the cards were signed and in an order the magician knows, a svengali deck dosen't have plastic coating on the faces so half the deck sticks to the other half facing each other so you just count to the card you want and separate them with your fingers. I had such a deck 35 years ago. Edit: in his case its backs of the cards not coated, every card you see him holding has another card face down under it, had howie picked the 9 of clubs, a card you can see in his hand, he would have pulled out the cards facing the other direction and navigated to where it is. Its not easy, he had to slide the 3 of diamonds and 10 of clubs apart without any of the other pairs separating. The lack of plastic coating on the backs just makes then not separate as easily.
@@bum4evr And you can see the final bit of slight of hand at @3:34 where he dumps the other cards he doesn't want. He forced the queens and then whichever Simon chose, he disposed of the other 3 into his pocket (not so subtle, TBH...)
the face up trick was super easy, all the cards that are faced up are odd numbers and the ones faced down are even numbers and he uses roughing fluid or something so they dont come apart

He actually failed hard: 1:55 he asks Heidi which she wants to burn, she says Faces, he confirms at 2:07 "All the faces are in the fire", then goes on to force it to the Queen, which should have been eliminated. And we can't suppose that he meant the faces are what she elected to keep, because when he asks Sophia men or women, she chooses men, and he eliminates men from the deck.
Sorry to hate, but the force he was looking for didn't go the way he wanted, so he just pretended it away.

The trick and deck are literally called invisible deck. You have a sticky substance that sticks to the cards. Each two cards stuck together equal up to the number 13.. clubs and diamonds go together, and spades and hearts go together..so when he says 10 of clubs, the guy just goes to the 3 of diamonds, and that card is stuck right under it. Depending on what card you choose, you have to take the deck out a certain way. Easy but fun trick. As for the signature could pulled is signature off the internet and already had each card signed. And I am right pause it at 5:30 you can see the 3 of diamonds and the card right under it. If he would of choose the 9 of clubs the magician all he had to do is go through the deck until he finds 4 of diamonds 4+9=13 and the 9 of clubs will be under the 4 of diamonds.

@bilbo8338 The cards are paired in a deliberate system, with each set of mates adding up to 13 (with Aces being 1, Jacks being 11, and Queens being 12.) Kings are paired with Kings.
Clubs are paired with Diamonds, Hearts with Spades (because hearts and spades kind of look alike!)
Even cards are on one side, odd cards on the other.
So the 7 of Hearts, then, would be the face-down card behind the 6 of Spades (Hearts with Spades, adding up to 13).
This way, you can easily locate any card in the deck as you spread through.
I used 9 as an example if he would of chose a 9 you would scroll through the deck until you reached the 4 because 4+9=13 each pair stuck together equals 13. If he chose 10 you go to you find the 3. If he chose 8 scroll until you find the 5 etc
See that is a golden buzzer. Yes the first one wasn't a hard trick but that last one is a show stopper

Im speculating but the deck was ordered Ace heart, Ace diamond, Ace club, Ace spade and so on. So when he opened it up and began spreading the cards with slight of hand fliped it over (10C) and then used a sticker to attach a lookalike or forged signature to the back of the card. Very neat trick. IDK how he pulled off the first trick lol

First trick was forced, as all the faces werent burned. He had 3 different Q's folded up in his pocket in case Simon draws a different suit. Simon did, so he had to use slight of hand - you can obvi tell even with AGT trying to hide that fact 3:34
The deck of cards he caught was slight of hand as well. Dude has a puffy jacket on for a reason. This time AGT didn't show the slight of hand cause it was probably too obvious
This boils down to a forced trick and slight of hand. Nothing any regular magician couldnt pull off or figure out

52 face up cards and 52 pre signed cards
Each of the 52 presigned cards are glued with posit note type fluid to the bottom of another card
He simply finds the top card that has the 10 of clubs underneath and seaparates them.
All cards were signed and he flipped it after Howie told his card. Good trick anyway!
