I would definitely love to tell King gizzard & The lizard wizard on how much I love their music and feeling so grateful that I am comfortable with my way of life
Who here is a fan of Rats in the sky? It’s such a fucking bop and I can’t get enough! I got to see it during this show and Chicago and I’m in love! Excellent upload, btw. Thank you for this! ❤
@ The whole album is phenomenal! It took 3 listens and I was hooked. I saw the video for Le Risqué and I wasn’t sold right away. Heck, I hated TSC. Hands down, thought it was awful. I seen them perform in Detroit and Chicago. They did B741 at both and the TSC set at Chicago and it was fucking FUEGO! Seeing it live was a whole new level. Gumboot soup and B741 are my favorites. Rats in the sky gets me going! Who doesn’t love a song about pigeons?! Lolol

So glad I went to this show. The acoustic shows are never my favorite, but this one was something special. So happy they finally pulled out the microtonal acoustic guitars
What a delightful little set! I've been a Gizz fan for about five years now, but somehow I've never come across an acoustic set from them before. It all came together so brilliantly. The banter and antics were absolutely spot on too
Was at the show seated near Cavs all the way on the left and I'm so glad I can re-experience the show with a better audio mix than what I ended up getting.
That’s one hell of a first gizz show!!! Ive been following them for a while but just went to my first show last week in Kentucky and it was truly life changing. I imagine this is how deadheads that used to follow them around on tour felt because after Sunday I would 100% be willing to sell all my possessions and just follow the band around the world forever 😂😂
😂 sorry you missed the show! Major bummer! That story is actually kind of funny. The whole “I’m on the truck!” I’m listening to it now and I recalled your comment and had a nice chuckle. Wth is this man talking about?! 😂😂😂
Exactly lol I’ve listened to it on Spotify a couple of times, buts nice seeing what’s actually going on. Especially with them being so goofy at this one.
that g troit segment is gold. There are videos of them tearing it down if you want to look more into it. I felt proud driving my 2002 Ford Windstar up from STL to catch them.
I waited in the merch line for over an hour. Geese played and gizzard was 7 songs onto their set by the time I made it to the front. Ran into Ambrose while he was walking around singing straws in the wind tho!
Oh heck, I was too enamored with existence from peaking during this song to notice it live, but at the end of pleura, right after the part about exercising his right to die, Stu throat-sings "S E L F = I M M O L A T E". Or maybe just "Immolate". Either way, wake up babe, new Gizzverse connections just dropped!
Thanks for the repost. Joey did a Q & A with my son and now it'll live on forever. Love this band and it community
One of these days they're actually gonna let Cavs go loose on Rock and Roll and it'll be majestic
Opening with acoustic Theia blew me away
I wasn’t a fan of that song or album until I heard a few songs in Chi and this show. Killed it and probably my personal favorite rendition.

Quite a few songs here sounded SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better acoustic than I thought they would have
Thanks for ripping these, catching them live from the UK every day is hard work :)

I especially loved when they brought the kid to say nuclear fusion :D
They also did an acoustic night at The Caverns in their 2023 summer tour. It's really good too if you're looking for another acoustic set from them
@@JediPacman Cheers, I’ll definitely have a look at that!

Piano on SLOW JAM is just heavenly
The world is ready to hear your healing medicine with every masterpiece you beautiful guys created. One love
This show was amazing! It was my son's first real concert, and he LOVED it! KGLW fan for life!
My first King Gizz show!

Glad they visited Motown! It was my first time seeing them. They were having a blast this show.
Thank you!! Had to miss it live, but thanks to you I can now understand whatever the hell “I’m on the truck” means

This was absolutely a core memory for me. What a fucking show
thanks for curing my depression during these trying times by uploading these

fuuuuuuuuckkkk I love ambergris, but acoustic is a whole new vibe and I am in love
Thank you
beautiful show - that set list - holy shit

I've never seen a venue that size that was so badly staffed
Lucas on Ambergris.. 🔥
KEEP IT GOING! DETROIT ROCK CITY ❤
This might very well be the band of the year 2024. They are doing something pretty damn special.
I’m soo excited to see them in okc in November. What a show this was!
so grateful
Man, Gizz fans really eating well with these acoustic shows.
Amazing show! Perfect night at the Aretha on the water! The boys were amazing!
esto es lo mejor que escuché en mi vida
💯🤘🩵👏THANK YOU!!!

Lucas has a real Chris Squire thing going on with that tone.

Is there footage of the screwdriver guy contained herein?
That’s what I’m searching for too
At 1:27:40 - though I reckon he didn't have the screwdriver by then
Did they announce ahead of time the show would be mostly acoutic?
Yep it was advertised on their set as an acoustic show

This is the stuff they should be doing. Playing less metal live consistently would be a treat.
let them do whatever they have the most fun doing perhaps
Severely upset that the Twist ad lib is not mentioned in the notes!
