Slight variations in operation also give a longer service life. Additionally, Josh Lee, the Original Josh has provided this insight. "The Comet K250 doesn't have the same type of "stainless steel plunger with ceramic lamination/veneer". It has a crankshaft style pump with the "ceramic sleeve plungers". Those are the type that crack when they freeze. "
