This was the fight that started my hype for Hajime no Ippo. Other matches were nice too, especially Ippo vs Ozuma, but this was the real deal and things started getting better from here on.
The fun thing about this fight specifically is... Mashiba did no fouls during this I'm pretty sure. The whole "stepping on the opponents foot" isn't actually illegal, as long as it's not a full on stomp.
