Well some times the real result is in popular sites which pay google for ad and other stuf.
But it also depends on type of thing we searching. Personalized search is good and bad it depends on user how he take it.
True, but sometimes there's a thin line between personalizaton and only serving what a person likes to see, and i think that's where google is struggling right now.
