The GMC badge is very amusing. I don't know if this had anything to do with it or if it's just a coincidence, but it's also kind of fitting since there is a GM badged version of the earlier 8th gen Carry truck/van in some markets too. Not GMC, but Chevrolet certainly with the Labo/CMP truck and Damas/CMV van. Plus the Bedford Rascal, GM Europe Rascal and all that. (Export models had the 800cc or 970cc engines though so not technically a Kei. And there was no GM-produced 9th gen Carry, to clarify)

When you get the blue vehicle, I got an ocean for you. Do you normal upgrades on the white truck and for a year sell day $20 raffle tickets for a year. Then have a big live drawing. Selling tickets for a year you should make your money back. Just a thought.
