Hike Wallula Scablands, views of Wallula Gap and the Columbia River | eastern WA | 4.0 miles

This hike is in eastern Washington about 30 minutes west of Walla Walla. Steve and I started out from the Wallula Scablands Trailhead while it was still sunny. As we climbed to the top of the basalt ridge, the wind picked up and the clouds moved in. Still, we had great views of Lake Wallula and of the Wallula Gap, a National Natural Landmark .
