The "mood swing" angle is very apt. Tyler writes a lot of his songs to deal with a lot of the psychological issues that he's dealt with. Although some seem kind of dark, a lot of his songs have a ray of hope at the end.
I feel like Twenty One Pilots often explore the difference between perception and reality in many of their music videos. For instance, in this one we see him shave his head, but then at a point that seems to be after the concert, his hair's all back, as if the shave scene wasn't real in the first place. In the video for "Lane Boy", while Tyler is on stage and it seems like it's footage from a concert, at one point he flips the mic upside-down and continues singing into it, which obviously wouldn't work if he were singing live. Little things like that are sprinkled throughout their videos, and it makes you wonder if there's any meaning to it or not. It's like their band logo: they've said it has meaning but they won't tell anyone what it means because they want everyone to form their own meaning around it, as they believe all art should be open to interpretation and value prescribed by the viewers/listeners rather than the creators.
Great reaction. I love that you know the word balaclava. Most of those in the US have not heard that word, nor do they know that it is not just a "ski mask." You hit the nail on the head with the "I'm vibing but the lyrics and such are very sad." That is one of the things they are notorious for is having catchy beats and serious lyrics. BTW your eye make up is fantastic! You should check out "Lane Boy" and/ or "Ode to Sleep." They are good ones! Thank you for Car Radio!
@@LongandWeirdName The British know everything. Also, they pronounce buoy like boy, which makes sense because it's short for buoyancy or buoyant, which we don't pronounce booency or booient. Who knew?!?
Oh baby girl! You’re gonna love this Ride! There is a volume of material!!!! We fans are called The Skeleton Clique and we are here!!!✌️💀and yes his hair is back!!!
You should totally react to Twenty one pilot's Tree's live Fox theater, Addict with a pen UG Studio version, Kitchen sink, Goner, Migraine, and Fake you out. I could literally name 100 songs for you by Tyler (the singer, songwriter, rapper, multi instrumentalist, and producer) and Josh (the drummer) because they don't have a single bad song but these would be a great start. If you've already reacted to any of those my apologies. Yeah Tyler again he's the singer suffers from Depression, suicidal thoughts, and anxiety as well as Josh suffers from anxiety you'll find that common theme through a majority of their music. Liked and subscribed for more Twenty one pilot's reactions they're incredible and saved my life and thousands others with their amazing music Another key note they're also both Christians.
Recommend ODE TO SLEEP official video. When u see it you'll understand why everyone suggests it. It's great for someone starting the journey of twenty one pilots.
Love your accent, and your reaction. He very messed up and music help. Also hurts because very OCD, has be perfect. "ODE TO SLEEP" explains their beginning as 2 man group. PS I LOVE JOSH DUN...the drummer, seem like a very nice, but also very shy person, who is very introverted. Tyler the singer, is genius in total control of EVERYTHING Twenty One Pilots! They wear masks a lot, to hide faces, so nobody can judge their music by their faces. CUTIES!
I just subscribed. I'm so used to male reactors. Nice to see a woman reacting. And also you're just awesome. Like your personality and can tell your music appreciation.
@@Abireacts ty for appreciating, such a good moraled band. They need more recognition! So those who feel lost or tossed aside, can find their music & the Clique. No body is ever truly alone, in the world 🌎. We are all connected, somewhere.
I could not stop looking at your eyes!!! Gorgeous!!! Please do Ode to Sleep official video next...it's a doc style vid that will show you more about the journey of Twenty One Pilots...
Trees and speech live at Fox theater net please. Then you could start with the blurryface album, go to Trench album then go to the earlier works of vessel, regional at best and their self-titled album. At that point you'll be so hooked you'll even react to Tyler's first album he made alone in his parents basement at age 17. You'll hear a sound quality difference (obviously) but you will be amazed at what he was capable of at 17 in a basement!! Great TOP reactions. Im subscribed to watch you watch them!!
I expected more of a reaction at "I could pull the steering wheel". Also, glad you've listened to this one. I hinted at it without actually requesting it in the comments on Ride. I know you probably won't look/find it, but someone in the comments might. :P Edit: So... What do you think about yelling "I just sit in silence" at the top of your lungs?
Yeah I think a lot of people when they hear the I could pull the steering wheel don't really catch what he means by that like suicide at least that's how I interpret it. I was surprised she caught that his hair was back. I've seen so many reactors that just never catch that part. Stay alive fren ||-// 💛💛
@@dimashdearraredivideos6997 That is strange. It was my first thought when he said it. Pull it strongly to one side at high speeds. Swerve into the opposite lane and get into a head on collision with another car, hit an obstacle, be it a tree or a lamp post(depending on location) , or cause the car to roll over a few times. No matter the effect, each of these has a potential to squish the person into a non-person. And its not even the words he said. More like... the way he said them. That tone leaves no other interpretation in my head.
@@LongandWeirdName Right mine too it's heartbreaking but also anyone who is a Twenty one pilot's fan which I understand she was not but if you are you know about Tyler's issues with suicide and depression and that makes it even more obvious which is what surprised me more about some of the other reactors not catching on. Like you said it's pretty much the only conclusion you can really come to.
Twenty One Pilots LITERALLY ( and I hate to say literally ) has NO bad songs. Not one.
Fact
Absolutely fantastic! Ode to Sleep next please.

That may be because she's British. Oh... Sorry. Bri'ish.
Theyre more cultured. Or, with her accent, coal chid.

Lmao why is that so accurate
Damn I used listen to this song so long ago i got a wave of nostalgia while listening to it now
