It's the same number of hours and sometimes less but for some reason it is way more exhausting. So the weekends become extremely precious. 1 database does all excellent. In the UK they use up to about 9 different databases that don't talk to each other and wonder why everything is slow. Come over here and demonstrate your system. I'm retired now but it is struggle this side of the world. Thank you for your time, dedication and the personal sacrifice you make working shifts. Take care of yourself it is bad for your health working shifts and the stress and hours you work.

I want to start by saying I love your videos! I’m a 43 year older female nurse. I’ve always wanted to be a police officer. When I was in my early 20’s that was my plan. I ended up meeting my husband and getting pregnant so I put it off. I then had my second child so I thought maybe it wasn’t meant to be for me so I went with nursing. Long story short my oldest child graduated this June and has no idea what she wants to do so I took her to a local job fair. We were walking by a female police officer and my daughter says “there you go mom”. I said I’m to old for that. She asked my age and so I told her. She was my age and the other officers she was with were older than me. I haven’t stopped thinking about this since that day. I told my husband what I want to do. I got online signing up for the agency’s I’m interested in as well as finding the next testing dates. I’m planning on taking the test next month. I’d like to see you do a video on older officers and female officers. I’ve been obsessed with your videos after stumbling along a video of yours.

Whats your view of small town police departments bringing in heavy equipment? I live in a town of 25,000 and the police department here has a humvee and a mine resistant vehicle with a new 40k turret on top. In my opinion that kind of spending/show of force is completely unnecessary.
Fun fact. Our police department was the first department in the nation to experience the axon body cameras back in march of 2010.

I use a system similar to that for my job as loss prevention. Keep up the good work.

Lmao lp. Stop following innocent people because we have tattoos n are indecisive! I get followed just about everywhere n have never stolen a thing. It happens and i instantly leave whatever is in my cart n walk out, costing your/the company thousands. If im there to shop im there to SHOP. Follow me if you wish, just know you'll lose your company money n maybe get me following YOU n filming all along

@@DaileyShorts I know what you mean I get followed when I go to stores because I move quickly through the store and don't really look at stuff. It sucks that you get profiled the best I can tell you is speak to the management in the store and have them make the AP manager aware of the situation.

@@jrcook78 i mean, listen, i get WHY you guys do what you do. I HATE shoplifters, hate that my blu rays n games have to come in stupid cases now etc. But at the same time, from MY perspective, at no point am i ever SEEN screwing with the packaging, tampering with anything, looking for cameras, acting suspicious or anything. At most, i may grab a few movies, walk to my cart, read the back n then decide which to keep or put back, but i ALWAYS put back on the shelf anything i grab. And i always have my kids with me. So my question is this:
If the item im "stealing" is inside one of those case things, clearly im not walking around with high power industrial magnets in my hands or an actual key for them, so how the hell is there concern that im actually gonna take the damn things?! It literally happens easily 85-90% of the time. I make decent money, I'm a BIG movie fan, and my sons have 3 different video game systems (xbox 1, ps4, switch) so it stands to reason that im gonna look at multiple things for multiple systems. Is that really all that uncommon that im followed? Id love your insight, given you do it for a living.
Today is a perfect example. I go to Best Buy. I grab maybe 6 total games, find my kid, show him each. We debate which to buy before deciding on LA Noire and Red Dead Redemption 2. I put those in my cart, return the other 4. I then notice LP go to right where i put things back, look thru all the cases making sure i didn't remove any from the security case. I then grab the 2 we WERE gonna get, and hand them to LP guy still looking for the "tampered cases" (i only know that because i heard him talk into his headset, said "he put them back, I'll check for the cases now"). When i handed them to him, i said "here bud. Make sure you check these 2 cases too. For what it's worth, i didn't fight for this country just to come back and start stealing from it. Im leaving now, feel free to follow me out if you'd like". I was then stopped at the door, asked to show a receipt for my 2 year olds Paw Patrol stuffed animal (that they DON'T even sell at Best Buy smh) before leaving... it's ridiculous overall

Do you as a PIO still respond to things like traffic stop backup, or is it just major incidents such as homicides and robberies?
