my dad joke:
I just watched a documentary about beavers. It was the best dam show I ever saw!
I did live by a cemetery years ago while in school it was funny because if you've never been around a black funeral or baptism it's just like a Madea movie 🎥. Especially if you have a huge dog that loves to checkout what all the screaming and hollering is about. Then it really gets funny people on top of the Hearst and tombs and even on top of the church.
love this! the Kodiak 700 EPS is the bike that my girl wants and now i know what to do! thanks man. great vid
That's awesome. We have a playlist on our channel dedicated to the kodiak upgrades we've done if you're interested.
@@MainvilleATV thanks bro.. i will check it out!!! Our group wants to come to Canada to ride one day
.. we will look you up... if we are in your region
Sounds good!
You guys are great to watch !!! Thanks for the video and keep em coming
Thanks Stephen!
Started off with an epic dad joke... lol love it
Great video Kyle and Cass !
I have an outlander 1000xt and just ordered these for mine. I also have 28 inch itp blackwater evos and when I ordered them, they had the option to select factory or aftermarket wheels/tires.
Dad - What do you call an alligator that goes around starting fights?
Kids - ?
Dad - An instigator 🤪🤣
Love the dad jokes..(Graveyard add on ) those neighbors must be dieing of laughter..lol
MOM: How do I look? DAD: With your eyes.
Wow that ones so good hahahah
I've used this one a few times... goes along the lines of "Oouch, I got something in my eye - Yeah! It's an eyeball. I'd hope so!"
The way you work that jack man...careful...Chaditha from Dirt Obsexxions might see that and catch the next flight to pannatabia ontario or something like that....Definitely have me interested that is for sure. I am running plane jane factory shocks still and I am just not liking how much play they have. Great when riding trails as they are somewhat giving but I like a nice hard stiff long ribbed shock like the Elka! 😂
😂
You guys make Such a good videos! Keep up the good work
Thank you!
One last thing. When checking out your Prostrate have a Dr check your TESTOSTERONE also, 3 years ago I was feeling extremely weak as in 0 energy didn't want get outta bed or anything I'm 53 now and the normal level for a man between 40 and 60 is around 300-500 above 900 is dangerous and below 300 is deadly mine was at 37 my Dr was freaking out when found this out and that I drove 65 miles to go see him. Thankfully he's got it back up in the normal range and I'm starting to feel better. My grandfather died of Prostate cancer years ago
Good advice.
Y'all making it hard for me to keep up with y'all .I did the lift kit a couple weeks ago.👍📽
Nice! And yeah we can barely keep up with ourselves sometimes haha.
A couple canibals were eating a clown , one stopped ,looked at his friend and says does this taste funny to you?
Cass and I just laughed out loud haha
That's a gassy one there. Lol. It put tears in everyone's eyes and gas in my tank
Very Good Video👍👍👍
Have you used the paracord tree saver strap? How does it hold up when being pulled on?
Do they fit OK with the Highlifter lift?
Fit perfect!
Ok as far as hair goes my mom was going to pull what she thought was a loose gray hair outta my brother's ear and when she went to yank it he hollered and I dang near fell off my chair laughing
Bet it didn't feel great at all!
Y'all joking about having grass growing by the shocks but I noticed the other day I had grass growing in the bed of my truck. Does that mean I need to clean the bed out a lil more than once a decade. Lol
Hahaha likely.
As your passing a cemetery....
Dad - hey guys, how many people do you think 🤔 are dead in that cemetery?
Kids -?
Dad - I sure hope all of them are.
Hahaha that's so good lol
My dad used to ask , you know why they won't bury me in that cemetery? I'm not dead yet.
wow a Yamaha with a lift good tires and suspension the only thing missing for making this my dream Yamaha would be about 150 to 300 cc's
First off great job with the videos, very well done. How much of an improvement did you see on the Kodiac with the Elkas? This will be a long post - my apologies up front. I completely agree with the suspension upgrade for a utility quad - most beneficial upgrade in my opinion. I have two quads that I upgraded to Elka shocks - and a shout out to Sebastien that works in the sales department at Elka who is fantastic and knows his stuff! The first is a 2014 Grizzly 450 where the front would bottom out while braking into corners (single spring rate and shock recovery not fast enough) and the back end would bronco buck (no rebound adj to control shock extending back after compression) basically making this machine dangerous to ride trails aggressively. I went with Stage 1’s in the front and Stage 2’s (add rebound adjustment) in the rears. Improved the ride by a factor of 1,000! Best money I spent for that machine. Recently got a Can Am Outlander 570XT and put on Elka Stage 3’s because the stock suspension was really soft and again, I’m a believer after the difference I saw on the Grizzly. Now one thing about preload adjustments - you are not supposed to crank up the preload to get all the ground clearance possible (which I’m sure you are aware). I know that Kyle needed to increase the preload for tire clearance which is understandable, but read on for preload recommendations if you don’t have clearance issues. The claim is you are supposed to set the ‘sag’ distance at a 1/3 of the total travel. So for a quad that has 9” of travel, 3” of travel should be used up when you are sitting on the quad. So you would jack up the quad until the tires are just touching, measure from fender to top of tire, then let off the jack and get on quad and bounce a few times and measure the resting distance between the fender and top of tire, with you on the quad, and this should be a difference of 3” for a quad that has 9” of total travel. Yes, you will lose some ground clearance but this allows the tire to travel down when you are crossing ruts or allow your suspension to travel and work in both directions when going through a bumpy rocky trail at speed. Cass’s Kodiak did not look like it originally had any sag travel when you see Kyle bounce the quad going from the front with Elka’s to the rear with stockers at 13:10. I am guessing while the ground clearance was maxed out, the ride was really stiff and ‘tippy’ on a bumpy trail at speed. I received my Elka’s for my Can Am and I did preload measurements and the setup from Elka was spot on for me…exactly 1/3 of the quad’s travel. Now I took to the hills of WV and road very aggressively at Rock House to test the shocks to their limits and I will say they that while the ride was damn near perfect, they were still a little on the soft side as I could bottom out the front end when it was pushed. As Kyle mentioned, setting the preload on these shocks is super easy and after a few tweaks I now have a good balance of ground clearance and stiffness while still having a very smooth ride. So for me, I will go with 2” of sag travel for the way we ride. But again, just wanted to comment from experience that Elka’s are great and well worth the money and easy to tweak adjustments if needed.
Best comment Ive ever read on an atv youtube video and not even a response.
So we were driving by a cemetery right or graveyard and my dad told my mom that graveyards famous, I heard people are dying to get in there
What’s a pirates favourite letter?
Everyone thinks it’s the rrrrrr, but it’s really the sea!
Hahaha classic. Cass loves this one
That's my go-to party joke!
Hello love your videos hope you guys are doing great out west looks like you guys are doing ok out there just wondering why you never did a follow up video on your Elkas leting us no how you liked them if you have please let me now if not could you please do a little one about them because iam on the fence right now trying to decide if it is worth it thank you so so much Cas
We will absolutely cover that in a q and a soon!
Dad Joke:
What do you call a pig that does Karate?

This one time a band camp.... oh wait wrong joke.
I tell this one to my son all the time when he asks when he's hungry "Him- Dad im hungry" "Me- Hi Hungry im dad"
And " Having sex on a elevator is wrong..... on so many levels"
Haha man. This is the best thing we ever asked of viewers.
Wow... LOL!
@@ElevationATV 😆
what do you call a bee that died and came back to haunt you? a Boobee
WAIT! . . . WHAT? . . . Elka GAVE you those shocks?
That was a fun video. You two work well together. You REALLY need to get some communicators for the trail. Your videos would triple in views & likes with the dialogue you two have. Did you return the UClears?
No, we paid for the elkas from dirtylife.ca. Hopefully it didnt come off that way. The uclear just weren't a good fit for us, we enjoy being in our own heads riding
Elka usually asks if you have an upgraded tire and what size they are.
can't wait to see the review of these on both atvs. what do you use to keep Cass atv looking new, even the seat is shinny lol
Muc off! It's amazing. We use the soap and then the silicone spray. Both are from Dirty Life.
Cassandra Mainville wonder what that cost to ship to Saskatoon 🤔
Not sure, but it should show on the website at check out. Www.dirtylife.ca
Or you can call their store.
Dad joke:
Hey, I’m going to the Gym.
Who’s jim?
Classic hahaha
Is there any concern about over-extending the shocks (stock or Elkas) on a Kodiak if the rear sway bar is removed?
Are the tires on her 2018 yak the mega mehems?
No, sludgehammers! Awesome light mud tire
@@MainvilleATV did you have to get a bigger rim? Or can I just go get 4 rears at 28 inches and throw them on?
@@cassijean759 no, stock 12 rims.
They're all 30x10r12s
@@MainvilleATV thank you I'll definitely be ordering them for my 18 yak for sure thanx so much for the reply and information!!
I find it kind of funny that the grizzly is supposed to be yamaha's Flagship ATV and it's like the only one that you can't get a decent suspension on
the shocks on a Grizzly are different than those on a Kodiak. Kodiak are basic oil type shocks and the Grizzly is a gas type. Ride them both you will see the difference big time the Grizzly is a better ride, that being said its why the Kodiak is priced lower.
@@DonsATVAdventures the shocks on the grizzly junk compared to what available on the competition. Even if they have us a version of what's you can get on the wolverine it be a big step up
How are the sludge hammers cass? thinking about picking up a set for my grizzly!
Love them! Great tire that's pretty good at a few things. - Cass
What 30” tires are you running?
Those are Sludgehammers from dirtylife.ca
How much of a difference do the Stage 3's make on your XMR? I am thinking of replacing the air suspension with Stage 3's on my heavily modified Outlander XMR with 4" CATVOS lift.
Where do u guys have clerance issues that little lip in the back fender? I got a 18 grizz and just bought the same tires I had to cut a little bit of plastic. My next step is gonna be the snorkels just like u guys have will these tires rub on the snorkel hoses inside the wheel well without spacers?
Yes, they rubbed in the front on the snorkels without the spacers. And we had to trim some plastics as well.
@@cassandramainville7549 not good was it mainly when you are turning?
I was bottoming out when coming down on the suspension.
@@cassandramainville7549 not good so wheel spacers would fix the issue or do I need a lift as well
Yeah, I'd do the lift at the very least, and see how the tires rub. You might get away without doing spacers since the grizzly has a wider wheel base than the kodiak.
Just watched your vid. Great show again guys! So whats next on Mama Bear's Yammy? Drop a Rotax 1000R into it?!! LOL Ok, Hmm.. Dad Jokes eh? Well here goes: Dad said one day that getting old and retiring is not what it's all cracked up to be. Why I said? Then he says well just yesterday morning I went for the Poly Grip and picked up the Preparation H. by mistake. He said the next thing he was talking like an asshole all the morning long... But at least he said... "My gums didn't itch! LOL ;-) Later guys. ;-)
I may not have good dad-jokes since my whole life is a joke lol JK! 😂
Here is a good Chuck Norris joke (my father in law's favourite):
Chuck Norris once threw a grenade into a crowd and killed 10 people....
Then it exploded...
😂🤣😂
Haha that's great.
A skeleton walks into a bar and says to the bartender "give me a beer and a mop".

The Yamaha has the exact same springs my Suzuki king quad has
