My opinion is that this may get votes, yes. And probably because of the familiarity. Then get butchered by the juries. But I agree with you, it's not bringing anything new to the table. It's Jako 2.0 but with a full male cast. So maybe it's more Trenuletul 2.0. It's the lowest common denominator of folk music. No experimentation whatsoever. Also, wasn't Malta last year punished in the scoreboard last year for being too "Chanel". Why does it want to risk the same mistake of bringing something to the table which has been doing well in previous years, just for the sake of having something "local"?
Idiotic system, yes👍. It also gives more advantage to the big 5 countries. They have to compete with only one system while the other countries have to compete with two different systems. But ok, it is what it is 👍
@@JanBors And when it comes to this folk music. I'm not a fan! It should be an international pop contest, songs you can hear in clubs, songs that are hits in Europe. So if any country sends folk music song they should be eliminated in the semi-finals and then the final can be about those countries that have hits and bigger goals 👍👍👍

Malta was punished last year for being Malta imo... public voting only is harder for them

@@dobkevskidobke7123 exactly, if they do it smart, they have huge advantage among being automatically in finals
