Love to see this 52 and my friends 513-T go head to head. Both rifles are such beautiful works of quality American manufacturing.

Production of the 52B began in May, 1937 and continued until 1953, ending with some overlap of 52C production. Many think the 52B was the most accurate model of the 52 ever made.

Check your mags, you may be shaving lead off your projectiles when chambering. Its a common issue, match rifles are single shot for that very reason.

Check your mag springs/followers to see if they are coming up level. Sometimes with the new magazines you have to tune them a bit to make them feed cleanly

Love your scope, they are as rare as hen's teeth. I have a custom-made bolt action that was made by a friend. It's chambered to 45ACP. and is what I call a fun gun. When he gave it to me it had a ten power Unertl on it. I loved it but it's too rare a scope for a "Fun Gun". I gave him back the scope and replaced it with a Redfield.

I think those mags are scalpin those bullets causing those couple huge flyers.

At the end it looked like your barrel was just finally getting seasoned enough to be consistent. Sometimes it takes a while....

Judging by the flags in the background the wind has changed significantly, since your sighters. Maybe if you used surveyors tape or windflags you would have a better result.

New to your channel. Why not try some Eley Tenex ammo?

    • @Dayattherange

Because I feel like I would be throwing money away at this point. I have tried over the years greater than 15 different lots of ammo which anything I have tried them in didn't shoot well.

For the average followers who CANNOT afford the high $ rifles that you usually shoot, how about shooting a group of more affordable rifles that we can afford. Such as ... Howa mod 1100, Springfield 2020, KSA 722 Varmint, Christensen Ranger, Ruger American 22. And also, use the medium tier priced ammo, SK,,Wolf, Eley.
    Just my thoughts.

Appreciate the feedback. Though I feel different about the situation as a few of rifles THAT I OWN were cheaper than the Christensen of which I did review here dayattherange.com/?p=8270 here dayattherange.com/?p=7773 and here dayattherange.com/?p=7908 unfortunately it didn't turn out so well.
