Man hurry up and finish, I can't wait to see the finish product. I'm gathering up knowledge before I start mine. I have a bench seat so it won't be so complex.
watching your last few video's on this c10 and love the work going in to it. made me start to work on my 83 c10, it was almost finished two years ago and i feel its time to finish and drive it for once
Thanks man I really appreciate it. I completely understand but sometimes it’s not a bad thing to step back for a little bit and assess the situation and then get back after it. Good luck buddy!!
Super awesome console! I need to make one for the c10 project on our channel! I really like the cup holder integrated in the console! We just stated a RUclips Channel were building a C10 also! Keep it up looks great!
Not too hard, you don’t have to be super elaborate. If you have a bench seat it can be as simple as a small box with two cup holders. There are some companies that make them but are really $$$. If you plan on doing it yourself the best thing to do is make lots of sketch’s and cardboard templates to make sure it’s perfect. I use 3/4 mdf board for the majority and 1”x6” wood boards for any structure as they are stronger.
@@kesselsgarage I'm planning on building an figure out how to put a decent system into it. But I'll have to figure that how eventually... Thinking 10s or 12s
Thanks! Which part is too wide? By the seats or the pedals or the whole thing. I think everything fit ok during the test fit but we will check before we finish wrapping it.
Here’s the final part of the finished console!!

I am assuming the floor heat will still be effective with the console in place? I have a 85 gmc c15 so this looks nice so far.
Where did you get the stainless steel cup holder
I ordered them from bass pro they are actually boat cup holders.
