But what about that 2nd set of keys found in the bookkeepers office?! Don't leave us hanging man!!
You are my hero in 2 ways. First of all, you've been the first person to actually explain this to me. Second, I FINALLY found my keys!
Not sure how I helped with your keys but I'm glad I could help you with your math David Kimber ! I hope that help will earn me a new subscriber too...BAM!!!
I have a test tomorrow and I didn't understand the domain and range but now that I watched your video I understand now thank you!
I hope you go into class with your new found confidence and pass that test like BAM!!!
Thanks for watching, learning, liking and subbing Mayra Macias and please tell all your friends and classmates to watch and do the same:D

You're welcome Isabella May thanks for choosing my channel to learn from and subscribe to! ...and please share my channel with your friend as well:D
My College professor explanation on how to graph a Piecewise function was to just look at it and then he did it himself with no explanation, Thank you for your videos, your honestly my new professor.
AWESOME..thanks for taking the time to find help on RUclips and choosing my channel to learn from and subscribe to! I'm proud to be called your new professor and look forward to teaching you and all your friends!!!
The Cell Phone analogy was super helpful, thank you.
Finn Underwood you're welcome thanks for watching, learning and liking!
Don't forget to subscribe and share this channel with all your friends to help us keep growing:D
You are my new god. Seriously. If I could get on my knees and throw myself at your feet in thankfulness, I would. My teacher (if she could even be called that) doesn't even give us examples or anything and we literally have to learn from the book. Hopefully with your teachings I can hope to pass my quizzes now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
If I stare at your shirt for a long time I can feel my consciousness easing out of my very being, it is being attracted to the thresh hold of space-time, an endless ocean of knowledge and wisdom. I feel bliss as my soul is almost free, but I also feel fear as I delve into the deep unknown. Finally I look away from your retro shirt thinking to myself "Another day when I am ready to toss my consciousness into the unknown I will stare at your shirt and I will be truly free." Your shirt my friend is a gift, and it is also a curse.
+Giuseppe Jones that was so deep...BAM!!!
Giuseppe Jones deep
Your very welcome. Building this library of videos has been fun so far and I am looking forward to offering a large selection to choose from by the end of this school year.
I am glad I could help. Good luck in your class.
Your face was so funny when you were listening to the announcement about the keys ! But I love your videos , great job and keep making videos !
Amazing. Thank you so much. I wish you were my math teacher. You are unlike other mathtubers who briefly go over everything assuming that viewers know it already. You spend your time making sure every detail is explained. Your videos are really helping me with Pre-calculus! :) BAM!
You are very welcome Lila!
Thanks for taking the time to study and share your compliments and appreciation!
Please share with your class and teacher so ALL currents and future students can watch and feel the same if they choose to study like you did...BAM!!!
I was really struggling with this concept... UNTIL I watched your video and things finally fell into place. Thank you, you have a gift.

Start with looking up my video Visually Identifying Key Characteristics of Graphs. It is the second video in my PreCalculus playlist that you will find on my channel's homepage.
I cannot thank you enough for being such a great professor. My current professor does not know how to explain anything in our course. I would be failing my class if it weren't for your videos. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing your appreciation and for watching my channel!
You can thank us by taking the time to like, subscribe and share this free educational channel with your friends, classmates, professor and anyone else who might find free math lessons helpful...BAM!!!
Sorry....at 2:40 I was trying to say "don't make it a big convoluted MESS"
Please consider this my correction:)
Not to insult any of my teachers, but you're the best I've seen so far. I struggled to understand, what now I see is simple, for 2 weeks. Thank you sir.
Go to the homepage of my channel and use the search window there. I have combining functions and composition videos that I hope will help. I don't have anything for floor and ceiling functions.
You are a lifesaver. I was completely lost when I looked at my homework and saw I had to graph something he didn't teach us how to do. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome and thanks for taking the time to study and sub!
If you continue to find this channel helpful please share it with your teacher so ALL current and future students know where to find homework help like you did...BAM!!!
Positive thoughts only are allowed!!!!!..."A"..."A"..."A":) You're prepared and will do GREAT!
And you Sir, have done it again! Your comments always have a way of making me feel so special and reconfirm that doing all this is making a difference all over the world...THANK YOU my friend!

THANKS @Lucy P for watching and supporting, Please share this free resource with your class and teacher too!
Good thing math doesn't change, the only thing that's changed here is my hair color over 8 years...lol
Thanks for watching...glad you enjoyed your lesson!
Thanks for watching and posting this Vineet and being such a loyal subscriber and student! A reporter from the Tampa Tribune saw the NBC piece and wrote a great article in the Tampa paper last Saturday...I love it when the snowball starts picking up speed:) Thanks again for your support.

I already recommend your channel to my friends and to my students. By the way I think this is our 5th conversation. I don't think that you can still remember me since I used my another account but our first conversation was a year ago when I am just starting my first year of teaching. Thanks for all your advices they all really helped me along the way of my first year of being a teacher. "Maraming Salamat" (Thank You Very Much) from your fan here in the Philippines. God Bless You.
Watched 7 other videos and didn’t get it. Your video made it all click! Thank you!
Sounds like a "BAM" moment to me!!!
Thanks for not giving up till you found what you needed...makes a teacher happy to hear:)
Don't forget to like, subscribe and share this free resource thru all social medias, with friends, classmates, and especially your teacher so ALL current and future students know don't have to watch 7 other channels first...BAM!!!
My latest #math video to have Closed Captions added:)
ProfRobBob Where did you get that shirt? It looks from old school, but I like it.
Just another 3 button printed shirt from my endless closet of shirts:)
I love you man
OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have an assignment due this weekend for college algebra and I was struggling with this, even when we briefly went over this in class. This is helping me understanding this a lot.
I wish i have you as my teacher. You are so good!!!
Now that you've subscribed I can be your teacher any-time, 24/7, 7 days a week if you choose:) Thanks for choosing Tarrou's Chalk Talk to learn from and I hope you will share my channel with all your friends and subscribers:D
Preach the word! We need more people like you, jennanuntavijan!
Yesssssss!!!!!! I'm not the best at math but you break everything down so wonderfully. Thank you Prof Rob
First and foremost, God bless you and your marvellous math help videos. I cannot tell you how many tests I've passed purely due to these videos! Also, have you ever been told how remarkably similar you look to Misha Collins? You could be his older brother, it's eerie! Anyway, thanks again for all of these, you are much better at explaining things than my math teacher!
THANK YOU so much for taking the time to comment and telling others about my channel! When you tell them, please be sure to remind them to like and subscribe to show their support...and I do have a "Tip the Teacher" button on my home page when you all graduate and get those dream jobs in place:)
Send me a specific example on my Facebook fan page (facebook . com/profrobbob) and I'll be happy to try to help you further:)
In making a t-table you can use any values you like, but make sure that what parts are left in your final piecewise graph matches the conditions for each piece of the piecewise function.
omg thank you I'm in dual enrollment precal at my highschool and our proffesor is all over the place it seems like he focuses more on jokes and trying to be entertaining than actually teaching you explain things so clearly and make it seem so easy you dont know how helpful you have been please keep making videos I wish you were my proffesor =)
I take all my math classes online through ASU and there is no way I would of passed them if it weren't for your videos. I just wanted to say as someone who struggles with math you make it much easier for me to understand. I appreciate all the time you take to help people out! The world needs more teachers like you. :D
Holy shit..... dude. You are really good at explaining, most math teachers dont bother explaining the more "basic"concepts cause they think its given that we know it already.
Glad you make sure everything is so thorough! Subscribing now!
Sorry...at 2:40 I was correcting myself and was trying to say: "don't make it a big convoluted MESS"...
I DEFIANTLY did NOT say meth lab and please consider this an apology if you thought that is what was said!
You're right, it better not either...my wife and I have put a lot of work into this channel to help it groW! We want to continue to keep our channel FREE and available to everyone who needs it, all over the world and someday to see that "M" next to our subscriber #
You are welcome, glad I could clear things up for you! I hope you will continue to choose my channel for future help and please share it with your friends too:D
You are so welcome! Thanks for choosing my channel to watch and learn form:)
Thanks man, you saved my grade. You are the best.....
Professor RobBob ,thank you for an excellent video/lecture on the Introduction to Piecewise Functions. I struggled with Piecewise Functions in the past, however with constant practice, I understand the material from start to finish.
Hilarious when you open and end a video.. but how you explain the problems is even better! I really enjoy when you take the time to apply the problems to the real world - it helps a lot in grasping the concepts. Thanks so much for the tutorials!!!!
Nice catch, shows you have been paying attention...something us teachers appreciate! This was one of my very early videos before I realized the audience might need some waking up just like my students:)
What am I paying my professor for? BAM! In all of your videos you explain every topic in less than 30 minutes and it makes perfect sense, while my professor spends almost 2 hours to confuse the heck out of everyone. With that much time to spare, I could have my homework turned in by the end of every class if you were my professor ha!
THANKS for making my day with this comment and thanks for taking the time to seek outside help and for subbing...lol
Sounds like the perfect time to share my channel with your class and professor as an "additional study reference"!
That way all current and future students can benefit like you did and will not have to search all of RUclips for free math help...BAM!!!
Yes Sir, and thank you for all your hard work! You really have a passion for what you do and it shows by your teaching. Take care!
This explanation was muy bueno. Pittsburgh loves your videos.
BAM!!!
Thanks for the sub and support Mo...please keep spreading the word and make Tarrou's Chalk Talk the number ONE in PA!!!
Your welcome as usual...it's nice to see familiar faces still watching and learning with excitement! Students like you are why I am spending my summer vacation making more videos to add to my library.
Did you happen to see me on NBC nightly news with Brian Williams on 7/1/13?
I didn't pay attention in my school and was struggling solving piece wise functions. I have an entrance exam next week for engineering university and your video helped me a lot. Real life example was very helpful. I wish you were teaching in Pakistan. Thank you very much for making this lecture
Glad to hear you found this lesson helpful!
I can teach in Pakistan...all you have to do is share my 700plus videos on this channel with everyone you know... other students and teachers too...BAM!!!

Please like, sub and share this free resource with teachers, students and friends to help us keep growing and helping others:D
Oh absolutely not! This is just and example. As you go through your math class or into other classes you will see all kinds of examples/problems with piecewise functions. Thank you very much for watching:D
That is AWESOME news!!! I'm here to bring the "FUN" back into learning math:) Glad to see you are still watching and learning to love PreCalc from my videos...your profile face is easy to remember:)
Thank you for making this painfully easier to swallow! i am able to help a few students wuith this refresher. Very thorough and clean.
You're welcome..glad to hear you found it helpful and thank you for helping others understand math!
Please take the time to like, subscribe and share this channel with everyone to help us keep growing and helping others...BAM!!!
I love how you say if your in pre-calculus, and you allow for people in calculus and different classes that piecewise functions are used. I'm in calculus, but I also did them in pre-calculus so for me this video is great! I have an exam tomorrow morning, my first calculus test. I've got my limits pretty much down but I'm in need of some derivative videos!!!!
You are a lifesaver to me and all my friends at the uni, thank you so much for posting this.
...and THANK YOU for choosing this channel to study with!
Please keep spreading the word and be sure to share this channel and your experience with your professor so ALL students know where to find free math help from my 700plus videos...BAM!!!
You have done it again sir!! In India we have a chant :
"Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu , Guru devo maheshwaraha guru sakshat parabrahma tasmayee shri gurave namah"
Meaning : The teacher is like creator as he Generates knowledge within us,
like preserver as he Drives ideas and knowledge into our mind unto the right path,
and like destroyer as he Destroys the ill-conceived ideas that come from our knowledge, while enlightening us and helping us stay on the right path. Thus he is the ultimate god!!
I would actually pay you for the helping me understanding this stuff. I recommend you and only to all people who have trouble. I can say this on behalf of all of us, we really appreciate the time and effort you do to put this all together :)
THANK YOU BIG DAD BOB, you made piece wiaw so much more clear for me
You're welcome...please sub and share too!

I am back to college...after a long period of 9 years since high school...and they are making me take lots of math in order to get my Registered Nurse degree...I did not had a clue why they make me take lots of math, but NOW I dont care anymore, I will watch your videos over and over again:) and at the end of the day I will remember that there are always a reason of why things happen...if they did not had me take math, I will never find you:) BAM!
AWESOME!!! I am so glad I could help:) Thanks for watching and subscribing. I hope you do very well in your studies.
The range of what, the last example? I gave an example of range in the first example, so what do you think is the range of the second example?
By the time you read this I hope you aced that Algebra 2 test and had time to subscribe and like more of my videos:)
You're welcome...and thanks for your support by subscribing!
the best real life analogy, i always wondered what is this even used for
Thanks!

thank you so much. my teachers is fresh out of the university. I am a junior in pre-ap alg 2 with trig in a class full of mostly sophomores. (I did not fail, I started with algebra freshman year, at another school, the school I'm at now did math placement for freshmen) For the life of me, I could not understand what she was saying . Students who did understand were loud, and disruptive. She would move on when two or three people in a class of twenty said they understood. Thank you so much.
If only my math teacher was just like you. You explained it perfectly, thank you so much!
You're welcome...and look at you watching more videos already:) BAM!!!
Don't forget...After you do all your homework you can start thinking of ways to make me Canada's favorite too:D...lol
The end sample made it all come together. Thank you.
BAM!!!
Thank you soooo much!! I'm homeschooled, and I've been stuck on this for forever! Now I finally understand! I will definitely be watching more of your videos :)
couldn't find others video easy to understand but you helped me a lot thank you !!!
zuley palma you're welcome and thanks for watching and learning from Tarrou's Chalk Talk!
I haven't said this in a couple of years but... "I actually understand everything that was being done!" hopefully I can pass my test tomorrow. Wish you were my teacher, every other video I clicked on was just confusing and didn't help very much because they skipped steps. Now if you had a video for every assignment that would be great, it's kinda like you're my online teacher
This helped me so much oh my gosh. Thank you very much!
You're welcome...don't forget to sub and share the free help:D
@mpaschall100 I don't intend on stopping now:) Please return the favor by spreading the word...and I will thank you ahead of time for watching the ads!
I liked the cell phone example! Very good work. Pretty good summarized!
Thanks!
You're welcome and thanks for watching!
:) I recently started to brush of my old Calculus skills and making Calc videos. It feels good.
Thank you for the video you actually made piecewise functions understandable, I am in an online algebra 2 class and all the videos with the class where so convoluted it was almost a foreign language. Thank You SO MUCH
Ur awesome, i have a test tomorrow and you really helped. I am totally gonna ace Algebra 2 with ur help.
Thanks
