You are absolutely right. So many are choosing to WFH. Prime example are the 60K Dell employees who refused to return to the office after being told this past month, you either return to the office or lose your benefits. All 60K chose to lose their company benefits and/or promotions because working from home was more beneficial to them. I honestly cannot blame them because my work life balance is very important to me. Especially being a caregiver at this time in my life. Yes, FedEx is a wonderful company. Thanks for your support. 😀
I have my interview for this position tomorrow afternoon🤞🏾 I’m super excited because my qualifications exceeds the minimum so, I’m not worried about that part. I’m nervous about school. I have a class starting September that starts at 3pm. And I’m hoping that it’s not an issue to ask off a few minutes early on a couple of days out of the week. I hope this doesn’t ruin my chance at this opportunity because it’ll help me save some much on ubers 😔🤞🏾

Unfortunately so many people have abused the opportunity to be trained at home that some companies have removed remote training all together. However, this job is fully remote after training has been completed in the office. Another reason some companies will require their remote staff to live within a certain number of miles from the corporate office has to do with funding. If there is a mandatory in office meeting, companies do not have to pay for flights and hotels if an employee has to travel to the state where the company's office is located. Whereas if the employee lives within the recommended number of miles mandated by the company, then they only have to pay for driving mileage when the employee attends a meeting in office.
