I never would have thought to pick up the Left Behind hardcovers. I see them quite a bit. I've been picking up Harry Potter and Hunger Games when I find them cheap to build sets.
I’m a sucker for kids selling cookies and lemonade at yard sales🙃. We sell little toys in bags at our booth store, and they sell fairly well. Thank you
So am I. I don't like lemonade but I stop by lemonade stands whenever I see them just to give the kids a dollar or two and encourage their entrepreneurial spirit.
Said it before, but it’s fun yard saleing with you. The courtesy and congenial conversation is the way I like to roll as well, it’s so much nicer than silence and the loud noise of a IKEA bag being ‘inflated’. Love these videos, keep them coming!

I would love a video seeing how you map out your day, how you decide exactly where to go first, if you prefer neighborhood sales or single sales, etc. I've found figuring that out particularly over whelming. 🙂 (Also thank you for being so kind to people- you don't see that as often as you should.)
Try this. Pick the first 3 sales and just do what feels right. Be ok with rolling the dice and enjoying the day.

I have another BOLO for you. Do you remember those hand-held electronic Yahtzee games that were produced 20 years ago and sold at Walmart, Walgreens, etc.? I found one from 1999 new in original package at Goodwill today for $1.99. I don't know why I stopped and looked it up, but I'm glad I did. They sell, new in original unopened packaging, for $40-50 plus shipping. I listed mine for $40 plus shipping and within 5 minutes someone offered me $30. I declined as the sold comps are plentiful so I expect to get $40.

It kills me how you carry around that huge pack of Bill's and just pull it out e everytime your thinking of making a buy. I'd keep it in a wallet or something. Maybe its safer there but I'd be afraid of someone stealing it. Great sales ! I haven't found 1 close by me yet !

My son was a Thomas fanatic, although I will never sell his trains, I do spot them very easily and always grab them. Some are retired and go for a lot individually. Last I checked Clarabelle, Annie, troublesome trucks and NW Brakevan were worth selling individually. It’s been a few months since I checked so things could have changed if they’ve been rereleased. If they belonged to the kid selling the cookies, there might not be any old enough to sell really well by themselves. BUT, the parents could have bought some older ones at a yard sale or something so you never know!

Nice hauls. Do you ever part out things like that Perfect Situp? I find that somethings like that are better money to part out and it's easier to ship separate parts than the entire device. I do that on Total Gyms and it pays pretty good. Just a thought if you haven't considered that before.

Last week I picked up two kids book sets and jurassic world dinosaurs the dad had the kids running it. They asked for $4, I said how about $8. They wanted $.10 for a JW dino. lol. I still listed it all for $57 profit.

Kevin, the two pair of jeans that you bought underneath was that also a pair of cargo pantsthe reason that I am asking is that cargo pants go for so much you would not believe it and I know this because my son has paid up to 60 to $70 for one pair of cargo pants. as someone who owns a latex exercise product company I can state that getting the tubing exercise set was a great buy- since most people can't get to gyms, any inexpensive gym equipment that doesn't take up much room is VERY hot right now

Just depends on what they are. Some vhs are worth a bunch like hoorror movies. A bunch of VCR's are ang I put blank vhs with them
Also, lots of Barney VHS, Big Comfy Couch, Blues Clues....vhs can still sell really well. As Kevin already mentioned horror.....the ones that look like B movies that you’ve never heard of go for big bucks. Most were never put on dvd.

Do you know goodwill helps employ people with disabilities and those with educational and employment problems? And you want to put this on a t shirt? Make a joke out of it? Sir I have epilepsy. Do you know what it is to have a seizure in front of others? Be discriminated against by your employer? Be made to work crazy hours as a nurse to put your life and your patients life in jeopardy? Well they harrassed me at work had people watch me to try to set me up. What pressure I worked under. And goodwill is one store I shop at too. Look at the bargains you find. If I worked there would this happen? If I saw you coming no. I know the value of things as you however we are different I give to charity whereas you take.

I understand your point of view and respect that but my experience is that there are FAR FAR FAR better charities to give to than Goodwill. I can assure you that a portion of the money we make goes to charity so your accustion that we are takers and don't give to charity is false. Following your own logic anybody that has a yard sale to make money before they donate is also a taker. I just doesn't add up.
